I went through several helmets, not on purpose. (Sorry Amazon) I bought the 3/4 face still a little worried about an uplift with it. There really isn't any. With my full face, I get more than this one. I have sat in traffic at a complete standstill for an hr. This helmet didn't get hot. Everything else around me did especially since I had big trucks on all sides of me. Being able to lift the shield and keep the sun visor down helps. I was caught in a rainstorm the other day and it did a great job deflecting rain as well. I can't say enough good things about this helmet. With that said I do wish they made other color sheilds for this helmet.
I wear a medium in shoei, the medium ls2 fits well. The head padding is comfortable and tight. Ear cups dampen some sound but I wear ear plugs any way. The helmet is not very glasses compatible.

There is no aerodynamics to this helmet so expect your head to get tossed around at highway speed, there’s also a lot of buffeting. The ventilation most a fair amount of air even on a hot day. The face shield is nice and easy to use, the built in sun visor is nice too.

The chin strap is more of a throat/larynx strap and digs in to my neck in a pretty bad spot. This is a clear design flaw and the one critical issue with this helmet. I would hate to see the results after a hard impact with high velocity and leverage applied to the strap and buckle against that delegate and critical area of my anatomy.
For the price it has a lot of great features, but these run very small. I measured myself and went according to the size chart, but still had to return it twice for larger sizes.

I have mixed feelings about it.

The sun visor isn't polarized, so it doesn't really replace sunglasses very well, but it gets the job done in a pinch.

The buckle isn't a chin guard. It's a chin strap, and it is quite awkward even with padding. It overlaps my ears inside the helmet which messes up many headphones I try to wear, and if I have it on correctly it feels tight.

The face shield comes down below my chin (good for protection) but the breath slots are so far down that the shield fogs up anyway. If I put the shield up, it makes a constant whistle that sounds like a distant siren (you can imagine how disconcerting that is).

My final caution would be that the paint on it is not very durable. I have been relatively gentle but even just setting it down normally or bumping things with it while carrying it has caused white scratches and blemishes that are quite noticable against the black paint...

Overall it gets the job done. But I will probably get a different helmet at some point.
Iam taking a Can-Am driving class/course and it requires a 3/4 or full helmet and since I am clausterphobic went with this one and it does not disappoint. Love the shield and the built-in sunshades, PLUS I can still wear glasses while wearing this helmet. You can leave the sunshades up if not needed. In addition, I love love love flowers so when I seen this I thought how cool - This helmet is well made and while I am using it for a training class - it is PERFECT! The biggie is that it is DOT & ECE 22.05 certified, very important! Fantastic packaging & shipping too!
The chin buckle system works great for me. I like it much better than the old-style double loops. The build seems solid and there are no glaring defects. The fit was perfect. My last few helmets have been XL and this XL fits great. This summer I rode with the clear face shield in the up position and only used it in the down position when bugs were out. The dark eye shades work up and down easily. It is warm at 90 degrees and hotter, like all the other sub-$250 helmets I've ever worn.

I struggled to find a helmet to fit my smallish oval shaped head. This fits me so well! This is a true intermediate oval, not just oval (slightly bigger). It stays firmly in place. Many others wobbled. If you have a round shaped head, this is not the helmet for you. There is a break in period. So, it is very tight for awhile, and yes, there is some pressure on the jaw. Currently, still in the breaking in process, but it gets better every time. I use a silk scarf to cover my hair and half my forehead. I find that it gives a bit more comfort on my forehead and I don’t have a huge red line from pressure where the helmet comes down on my forehead.
My only complaint is that the sunglasses are a bit out of place with my nose. They don’t hit it and make it uncomfortable but when I look at myself I can see they’re not aligned. I also don’t think they’re polarized. I do love the clear faceshield. It’s also detachable! And you can replace it with the peak that comes with it. All in all it’s been a great purchase! It was a great price too!
I love the solid build quality, the helmet finish, the unique design, the quick release micro buckle, the built in tinted shield, the full face visor, and the simplistic yet effective ventilation system. The only big negative is if you wear ear buds, the chin straps attach inside the helmet all the way up near the ears and they interfere with the music as you move or shift. I’ve used many helmets over the years and have never had this issue before. Correct this single design flaw and the helmet is perfect. I sadly returned due to this issue.
I like the helmet, it seems well built, has thick padding, the shield comes down just past my chin, I like having the separate sun visor, the helmet looks great. The one problem, as mentioned in many of these reviews, is the sizing. My head measures about 23 inches. I'm a medium oval I think. According to their sizing chart I should be a large. I ordered an XL, the XL was too tight, especially around my jaw area. My face was squeezed and with the chin strap secured, was too tight also. I sent it back and re-ordered an XXL. The return was very easy, Kohls now handles Amazon returns. The XXL fits fine. So.. two sizes up from what the chart said.
I normally wear a small helmet but based on what people said about sizing, and my head measurement being between small and medium per the chart, I took a risk and ordered a medium. PERFECT fit. This helmet is long oval which explains why some felt it was narrow. The navy is more of a blue/purple mix. It's quite colourful and I love that. It's easy to buy a boring black helmet. It's hard to buy anything not all pink, but still feminine. I haven't gone for a ride with it yet, but am very much looking forward to doing so. :)
It looks well made and the padding is comfy. Small fits perfect from sizing chart. Mechanics work well as new. Since it's winter in Canada I can't see how the noise level is in it. Looking forward to using it.
