National Cycle Extra Tall Touring Replacement Screen For Honda Pcx
: National Cycle Extra Tall Touring Replacement Screen For Honda Pcx: Automotive
I got the windscreen a day early and I installed it that night. There is an air gap at the bottom of the original windscreen that I took off the 2018 Honda PCX 150, which allowed me to get to two screws to take off the front grill. With the Extra Tall Touring Screen there is very little room at the bottom of the screen, making it challenging to re-install the front grill and also to re-install the two screws. Patience and gentle determination got the front grill back in. I'm 5' 9" and the screen protects me from the wind about half way up my helmet, but no more wind on my chest and neck. I bought the screen because I want to extend my riding into the late fall and winter. I end up going faster because I'm not using the wind to regulate the sensation of speed.
This is the windscreen that should have came on the PCX-150 from the factory. I am 5'-11" and the extra tall windscreen works perfectly for me. My eyes are still looking over the top of it when I'm riding, but the front wind stream is now hitting just the top of my helmet. The product was easy to install, and I really appreciate the included hardware to make the mirrors sit out wider... this is another improvement over the stock configuration in my opinion, as I can now see back around my body much easier while riding.
I purchased the National Extra Tall wind screen to replace a Givi D1136ST screen I bought to replace the stock wind screen. Although the Givi was an improvement over the stock screen, it wasn't tall enough to push the air over the top of my head. I ride 90% of the time with just a ball cap and sunglasses, and the low stock screen and Givi just pushed too much wind on my chest and face. It blew my hat off and made my eyes water. Enter the National screen....at a full 6" taller than the Givi. I'm 5'8" and it is the perfect height for me. It pushes the wind (and bugs) over the top of my head and allows me to wear a ball cap and sun glasses without any wind turbulence. It came with all mounting hardware and was a cinch to put on. It literally took 5 minutes to remove the 4 bolts and remount the new screen. My only regret is that I should have just bought the National screen the same day as I bought the PCX 150.
Replacing the stock shield with this one makes a huge difference. Installs quickly. Very solid. No distortion. Have ridden for 300-400 miles so far... and loving it.
The product was delivered promptly. It fit easily, was basically plug and play. It came with adaptors to move the mirrors; however I did not use them, the mirrors were not in the road of the windshield when the steering was all the way over, just missed them by a quarter inch. I have a 2018 , can't say about other model years, no road trip yet, too cold, I am pretty much guessing that it is way better than the original no faring.

Makes my Honda pcx150 a sweet ride . Bought this windshield after reading all 5 star reviews and totally agree it's awesome. BTW being 73 I like a comfy ride. lol
It was good quality..however, if you are 5'8 to 5' 10 it is not a good fit. When sitting on my scooter, the top of the windshield was right in my line of sight. Very distracting and distorting.
Perfect for riders 6' + or even 5'6 and shorter.
Had to return. Getting shorter windshield.
Seems of good quality. Installed easily. 1/3 of the cost of a Honda windshield.
