I ordered a 6.5” to replace the stock windshield on my 18 FLHXS. I’m just about 6’. I always seem to get hit right in the eyes on stock bikes. Windshield arrived quick and really packaged well. Took me longer to unpack it than it did to install it. At 1st I thought it looked a bit tall. I got my tape out and woah... I was shocked that the measurement from the center hole to the top of the shield was 8.5”. I thought this has to be a mistake and they sent me a 8.5” by mistake. So I did some research and triple checked the box (which said 6.5” on it). It turns out they are measuring the 6.5” from the top of the dash to the top of the shield. Why they just don’t measure the actual shield makes zero sense to me. If you look at their website it’s showing 7” straight up with a tape measure, and etc. Go check it out you’ll see what I mean. Makes zero sense. Anyways sitting on the bike in the garage I still wasn’t sure. ..but bottom line... once I took it out for a ride I was extremely happy with it. Turns out it’s probably (close to) the perfect height. They could maybe have trimmed off 1/2”-1” and “I might” have liked it better, but as is... it’s great! Even made the bike handle better, and it was really windy when I took it out. Also noticed I could hear the tunes better too.
Easy to install and it improves the ride quality. You hear better the radio and reduces head buffering. I'm 511 and I'm able to see well over the windshield. I have included a few pictures.
Installed on 2019 streetglide special, looks awesome! Can’t wait for the weather to get nice so i can try it out!!! Works well with taller seat like for 2-up. I’m 6-1”, it’s too tall for me with stock seat. But works great with a taller seat.
I own a 2018 Harley SGS I'm 5.8 I went with the 6.5 blacked out flare to match my vivid blackedout bike. I initially installed it and had a gap left and right side so I looked back at the instructions and it states start with the outside bolts first hand tightened each equally however, still an issue not until I applied a little pressure on the edge of the shield buckling it a little while using my are to apply pressure on the trim and tighten left to right did I was able to eliminate both gaps. It's tricky but the windshield fits you have to work at it a little to get it perfect. As for the riding now why didn't I get it sooner it's like a different bike way more enjoyable at higher speeds over 50+ also, no more helmet buffeting and I can hear my stock radio super clear now.

I give it 5 stars for quality I didn't want to go with a $30 alternative that isn't even close to the stock one for safety and quality. Klock werks should update their instructions with some troubleshooting Incase people run into the same issue as me I didn't think a gap of about 1/8th of an inch was normal yes it's tricky but don't give up I went back and started over and follow the instructions to the key still had a gap again keep bolts loose hand tighten equal apply a little buckle pressure at each end to give it a bow curve tighten at same time using your left arm to keep pressure on the trim do this Incase you run into same issue as me
I purchased the 6.5 flare on 5/1/19 and absolutely love it. It is listed as a 6.5 but I believe it sits more about 8.5. I cruise on the highway between 60-80mph regularly and wind buffeting is minimal now, for both myself and passenger. Super easy to install and came very well packaged. I purchased a cheap (under $30) windshield off of Amazon and it was better than stock, but not nearly as good as this. I have had not complaints and am now a Klock Werks fan for life. I know the price is higher than others, but it only hurts once and than you are good to go for the life of your bike.

Very easy to install the windshield. Plus the directions they give are really helpful if you’re not sure how to put it on. You can also go online to getklocked.com for further instruction. ...So, I just received my shipment of the Klock Werks 6.5 inch shield today, installed it, then took it for a short test run on my 2017 HD Street Glide. I chose this size after going online to the Klock Werks YouTube videos to see their Recommended measurement test to know what would be the best size for me. I highly recommend you measure before buying. My Short test ride just going down the street turned into a 50 miles taking backroads and highways. I found that when I closed my front air vent on the fairing, I felt a little air swirl around my face area. Nothing big. However, when the vent was open I barely felt any wind, and I might have gone passed 65 on the highway to test that out. Not sure why that happened, so I have some more test rides to do. Overall, the ride for me was so much better than when I was riding with my stock windshield. And did not experience and bobble head for this 6’3 guy. I know I have more riding to really test it out, but so far I really love the difference. Hope this helps.
total crap product. talked with the owner to confirm these are hand bent. one side bent over an inch lower than the other. stick with the windsplitter, you'll be way happier at the same price point. klockwerks has a real good idea here but not enough money to execute a high quality final product. my last gripe is with the edge of this product appears raw, rough & unfinished compared to windsplitter. just a little ticked to have wasted my time with this windshield--hope this helps some of you not waster your time.
Fantastic for me and I’m 5’11” on a stock 2017 street glide special. I wanted the shorter one, but glad I got this one as I think it wouldnt work very well. There’s about an inch or two above my helmet where I can feel wind. I can hear my stereo so much more clear now too.
Is not working for me..I'm 5feet 9 riding 2019 street glaid stok seat..is okay up to 50 kilometer per hour after that is like having my head in a vacuum cleaner..
It’s perfect
