I love the look of this visor on my helmet, Makes it look high tech. There is a problem with it though. The inside is reflective too. Because it is reflective on the inside to I see a reflection of my eyes and face at times which can be very distracting while riding on bright sunny day. Unfortunately I feel like I need to buy a plain light smoke shield instead. Maybe one day the will actually release the transitions shield for the MX-9. Transitions lens was the only reason I even bought the Bell MX_9 then I couldn't find that lens.
Awesome shield. It really changes the look and appearance of the MX-9. Love it.
This face shield is great because the MX-9 helmet does not have eye glass canals in the padding. It is painful to wear a pair of glasses with this helmet, so this tinted visor is a must. It is very easy to change out.
Fit properly, works well (used MX'ing once, got plastered by rocks more than once, held up well). Tint is a bit light, but really works well for offroad where you are in the sun, then in a shaded area and can't lift/close your visor constantly.
Completely changes the look of the helmet, love it! Oh yeah and it blocks out some sun but that's insignificant compared to how cool it looks.

I bought the Dark Iridium Silver shield and it works great. I don't have to wear my sunglasses, even in the bright sun. I live in Hawaii so this was definitely helpful and a good buy. Makes the helmet look pretty dark- FYI.
I wore it with sunglasses and I had a trippy cross polarization going on...so just went with my regular glasses. No other distortion besides that.
Easy install.
Nice and dark but you can still see good in the dusk. Don't use at night. Good privacy factor.
Shield worked very well in daylight and kept me from having to wear sunglasses under my helmet. It was also easy to wipe clean on the go. It did not fit the helmet the same or as tight as the clear shield that came with the helmet. Dust and wind were getting in around where the helmet is supposed to seal to the shield.
Really nice visor but way to expensive.
