I have been shopping around for a helmet for a while now, and this one ended up coming at a great price point, comfortable, good fit, and VERY nice to look at! (I got the colorful sugar skull design) Also makes for a fairly quiet ride.
For reference, I am a women and I am usually a size small, however, after reviewing the size chart, it was apparent that a medium would offer the best fit, and it did.
I purchased the helmet 4/2020 and it’s production date was listed as 3/2019 and it passed QC 12/2019.
Note: it does not come with the dark visor, so don’t get excited about that.
Upsetting: (see pics) idk who to blame for this, the vendor? But the box the helmet was stored in (not the shipping box) was mangled on one side, leading me to believe the helmet was moving around in there or being pressed firmly. NOT COOL! Helmet was also upside down in the box 🤔 Luckily, there were no scratches or dents on the helmet itself, but my concern is the integrity on the inside.

This was the first helmet I really put research into and it has been tested by certain websites. The ratings on this helmet are great. It is very comfortable all around, even the strap. The gold Skull candy art on the outside gives it a cool unique look that I love. It does have cut outs for your preferred audio inserts. I put in some wired headphone speakers and hooked those up to a bluetooth transmitter so i could have wireless music on the way to work, Works flawlessly. I put velcro on the bottom back part of the helmet and attached the tiny transmitter there. Can't even tell. One thing to note is that since I'm relatively new to the motorcycle scene, I don't know if there's different type of padding, Im assuming there is. Well this helmet has cheek pads that I think are intended to be pressing up on you a bit, at least until it's broken in, and may be annoying. I don't mind it at all as it keeps my head nice and snug in my new gear. Worth the investment when you're potentially entrusting SCORPION with your life.
This is absolutely a great helmet! The fit is a little more narrow than intermediate oval but not as much as long oval, so it fits my head as perfectly as I've ever had a helmet fit and I've tried many at all different price points. It's very snug without being super tight and so far hasn't given me any pinch points. I imagine the fit will only get better as the pads wear in. The graphic is so freakin' awesome, you just have to see it in person, there is so much on it it's like a tattoo artist's nightmare, lol. It's also very quiet; mine came with a small flaw in the gasket to the shield that was letting some air in so it had a little wind noise but some hot glue mostly took care of it. Now all I can hear is the purr of the engine :-) The black on grey graphic looks a little blue in some light which adds a bit of flair if you like blue. It is a little heavy, but then again I got 3XL haha! But it fits!!!!!! Buy it!!
A few days later update: I will say that the "no fog" shield is pretty much b.s. as it fogs up about as much as any other shield, but anyway still a great helmet!
It's a beautiful Helmut except it came with clear visor so the look it shows (Black matte) is false advertisement. It's not as pretty with clear so I bought the black tinted which is glossy not matte, but still dark enough that matched the look of this. I get a ton of compliments! It very comfortable and has excellent padding, doesn't fog, the best ventilation of any other Helmut I've worn. Easy to remove butttt it's a bit heavy -you'll get used to it. Scorpion is an excellently safe DOT approved Helmut with quality beautiful design. Love it
My wife loved the helmet and it fits her perfectly (she tried different sizes on locally). My issue is that the helmet box was beat up and ripped and there was no padding for the helmet; it was simply rolling around in the box. However, there doesn't appear to be any damage on the helmet, but I would not order from this seller again.

The EXO-R420 now features our new Elliptic II face shield with a latching shield locking mechanism located in the lower center of the shield. I love this. It fits perfect. As a female I had trouble with my lashes scraping the front but, then I figured out the front detached like my other helmet. Now I wear it whenever I go riding. So pretty and safe which for me are the most important 😋 Also true to size .
It comes with a clear shield which is great. Fits like a dream. Plenty of ventilation but still quiet! Shield didn’t fog up! Lightweight and looks awesome!
I love the feel, shape and quality of the helmet. It’s kind of on the loud side. Wish it would’ve came with a smoked face shield but the clear one does the job. The fog resistant isn’t good anymore after cleaning the shield of bugs. I would definitely recommend though. The red white and blue theme is definitely a head turner
