This mirror was bought to use to watch skiers behind our Seadoo Wake ski. The stock mirrors on the ski are not adjustable and I wanted to add more rear vision when pulling 2 skiers or wakeboards. It fits the handgrip well and is adjustable, but it is so small that skiers appear to be tiny dots. I get more feedback from the ski when a skier falls down than I get from this mirror. I cannot see hand signals in it. If you do not have a mirror, this is better than nothing and may be the only way to make your ski legal for towing (Florida).
I have a CA street legal KTM 525 EXC; in California you have to have minimum one mirror on the left side to be legal on the road.
I wanted something that would keep the cops from hassling me yet if I pulled of to a trail I could remove it easily and put it in a back pack so it doesn't get damaged if you spill it in the dirt.
The good is that your shoulder is not in the way and you can see everything behind you but the bad is like many of the other reviewers say, everything looks smaller or farther away that it is, I wish they would put a plain mirror instead of this illusion type.
Also, it does move a little on you, you will have to adjust it often.
Overall for my purpose it works fine.
Installing this mirror is pretty straight forward, and it looks nice. It is very adjustable, so setting it up in a position that allows the rider to see behind them is easy. However, as others have mentioned, it is easy to keep need to adjust, especially if you have a grip shifter or you have tendency to move your hand on the bars.
Only downside is the fact that it velcros on. But it works as it should and would work better with thicker grips (my snowmobile grips are rather small so there's some play). The mirror is small so don't expect to see much. I was able to see the headlights of snowmobiles coming up from behind. Thats all I needed. But could not see detail.
I use this on an Electric Scooter. It works good and allows me to see what is behind. I mounted it at end of the hand grip left side.

used these all season last year, worked great, great value for the money... Key is getting them adjusted correctly on your handlebar
Works well on butterfly bars. Convex mirror makes things apear farther away and on a small mirror hard to see. Adjusts well. Nice the mirror pops off if too much pressure from ball joint. Pops back in no problem still holds adjustments
Objects in this mirror are tiny and closer than they appear. My husband likes his, but I don’t feel as safe with this type of mirror. I need a real view.
Bought a mirror for both my wife's and my own bike...it installs quickly and securely...does what you need
