The Puig windshield is definitely the best looking aftermarket option for the CTX1300. Fit is perfect and installation is a breeze. I put this windshield in place of the Kappa brand touring screen. I'm 6'2" tall and was fighting terribly annoying buffeting at highway speeds with the Kappa screen. The Puig screen is much narrower, a little shorter and follows the lines of the fairing truer. The Puig screen just looks more like it was factory designed for the bike. I do get a lot more air hitting my shoulders, neck and helmet than with the taller Kappa screen. But it is clean air without the buffeting and the Puig's adjustable vent makes it easier to adjust just how the air flows around you while riding. I also love how the smoke tint looks on my black bike.
I gave this windscreen 5 stars because it truly does improve the comfort and ride-ability of the CTX1300. It also is the only windscreen that I feel "flows" with the natural lines of the bike. However, Even set as upright as it can possibly go (lower mounting screw holes) it still only sits 15 1/4 inch above the tank and directs the wind right to the middle of my helmet visor instead of directly at my chest. I am 5'11" tall. This windscreen would be "perfect" if PUIG added just a slight upsweep at the very top of it to push the air just a fraction higher. I am going to attempt to do that with a heat gun, a wood dowel, lots of time and patience and a smidge of skill. I'll update with how to do it if I am successful. As for quality and fit, It is very high quality and the fit was perfect. As if it was made by Honda for this bike specifically. Be careful to not open or close the vent until the windscreen is fully installed, otherwise you will pop the cam out of the groove and it's a pain to get back in.
It does not curve up. It does add 10 inches to the exsisting windshield. The air is laminar and smooth, no buffeting.

Product plastic quality is not strong enough ...center Latch quality is also bad .. unable to hold box on center ..very bad experience .. I hope Amazon should not promote such product .. price is so high .. . Not worth
This is a good quality product, backrest is comfortable, and has plenty of storage. The latch is I little cheap, I may replace it, but it works. I also added signal lights on it for more visablity, and lined the inside with a thin rubber matting to help deaden the sound of things that may roll around inside. Tom
Absolutely love it. And the brake light on back is a great safety feature.
