Love it I researched a lot prior to buying and it was noted on a few YouTube reviews that you will get a lot of wind noise. The wind noise isn't any different than any other helmet I've owned. I love it it came with clear and tinted visor. The matte black finish is awesome!!! I have a weird shaped head I guess and helmets never seem to fit correctly but I love the fit on this one hands down.
Looks good, well fitting, feels light and doesn't catch too much wind while highway cruising at 150mph+. I've taken it to a little over 170mph on my CBRXX (carby) and it still felt nice and stable. The Bluetooth headset opening, even while not being used and closed off, is as most say pretty loud at decent speed...I think this coming season I'll try to put something in there to reduce the wind that enters to keep the noise out, but don't let it dissuade you from buying, you get a lot of helmet for the cash here. Screen is quick and easy to swap out, but I do wish I would've known it didn't come with the Transitions shield as being labeled as a DLX Qualifier ... didn't realize that the full matte black one just comes with a clear and a dark smoke, so this is your warning that it doesn't.
Bought this helmet specifically because of the recessed port that allows you to attach a Bluetooth headset. I figured it would look better than clamping one to the outside of the helmet. I bought a Sena SMH10 headset, and could not figure out how to make it fit into the port. Called customer service, and the disinterested young lady I spoke with - and who rudely kept interrupting me mid sentence - was no help at all. She referred me to an instruction video on YouTube made by some guy in his garage, which I had already viewed. Then she told me that I needed a boom mic and clamp kit, which is apparently $40 extra? No, thank you.
So if you are expecting your BT headset to bolt right into the mounting port, it won’t. You have to pay extra to use that feature. That’s a shame, because the helmet was pretty comfortable ... albeit noisy (especially through the BT port, which is apparently good for absolutely nada).
If I’m just gonna have to clamp my headset to the outside of the helmet, there are plenty of other models I would have chosen over this one. And did I mention that customer support was awful?
It's a cool helmet. Not bad. It runs super small though. I ordered a medium. Too small. I ordered a large and it's still a little small. The worst part is they sent me the wrong helmet! They sent me one that didn't have the Bluetooth functionality. I send it back to get a replacement and they sent me the wrong one again! So annoying. I thought I'd probably just keep it but I've worn it a few times now and it's kind of uncomfortable. I think it's still a little small. There's fabric where the chin is and it hits my chin. I think it's supposed to sit underneath my chin. I'm a little picky. It is a great helmet otherwise but it's not perfect like I'd like it and they won't send me the correct one. So dumb. The visors are awesome. Super easy to change out and I love the dark smoke visor. I'll probably replace it for an XL and maybe different helmet though. Seriously I wear a Medium in everything else. Weird it doesn't fit me.
Ease of purchase/Delivery time/packaging: All Excellent. I used their sizing guide which has resulted in a very 'snug' fit. This may 'relax' with use and is not bothersome... just more snug than my previous helmet. Quality is excellent. It was advertised and very lightweight and very quiet. Having just ridden 14 states (2900 miles) in 8 days, I would say this helmet is about average on the weight/noise spectrums. Fitting my Sena Bluetooth intercom was very easy. A note on this: The side door hatch is a loose fit (the catch did not engage by very much) so I have taken the precaution of 'lanyarding' it to the helmet (internally) out of fear of it falling off in a high wind. That said, it hasn't fallen off yet. The visor is VERY easy to swap out (and the helmet came with both a clear and a tinted visor). The multiple vents worked well but I have not had the opportunity to test it in the rain yet, so no comment on that. I'd buy this again (and probably will when my wife wants a new lid).

Pretty comfortable. My head is intermidiate oval with a circumference of 57.5cm. All I can say is it fits true to size. Been hearing complaints of wind noise from other reviewers. Honestly it's neglegible and when I sealed the windshield tight (there's a rubber lining on the windshield opening that acts as a seal) wind noise was pretty much reduced. Overall great bang for your buck.
The smoke visor doesn’t look at dark as the picture but still is very useful in the sun. The helmet fits well and also seals up well when you close the visor and vents to keep your head warm if desired. Also I very much appreciate how easy it is to change out the visors. I wish though that Bell didn’t utilize a shared shell for large/medium if there were different shells I believe the medium I have would feel a lot more snug in a good way after the pads are broken in. This helmet is DOT and ECE approved.
Just started riding again - tried about 7 helmets and I'm stoked to have found this one! Fits extremely well, snug & lightweight. The inner guts are of those found in a much more expensive lid & the fact that it comes with BOTH a Clear + a Blackout Smoke visor is the icing on the cake. HIGHLY recommended!
