An all new advanced LG® polycarbonate shell is more aerodynamic and smaller resulting in an ultra-lightweight SNELL-approved helmet.
The aero-tuned ventilation system uses a large top vent and mouth vents engineered to allow more airflow to the rider's head while maintaining low noise levels.
The EXO-R420 now features Scorpion's new Elliptec™ II faceshield with a latching shield locking mechanism located in the lower center of the shield.
This makes the faceshield more secure and provides a tighter seal against the gasket.

I don't usually drop this kind of money on a helmet but this purchase was worth every penny. It's so comfortable that you don't want to bother taking it off when stopped. It's quieter than any full-face helmet I've own. If I hadn't done a test fit at a local shop first I would have bought one size smaller based on their sizing chart and the helmet would have been too small. It's my first modular helmet and I'm already spoiled with the features. The drop down tinted inner visor works fine with glasses. Ventilation is just okay.
Overall this is a awesome helmet. Of course I made my purchase in November in west Michigan so it's a little hard to judge the ventilation, but I have rode with it open and I can tell that it is better than my Shoei GT Air. I wear a size large and this fits great! I have one other modular helmet from another manufacturer and the the Neotec II is more comfortable and quite than that one. The appearance of the Metallic Anthracite is beautiful. This is the first helmet that I have owned without D rings and I have to play around with the adjustment a little as I seem to feel the buckle on my neck. If I were to have a complaint it would be that and the fact that it is on the pricey side, oh and that I have been looking at the Neotec II for several months and never see them on sale.
Bought this helmet and the Sena SRL kit to bluetooth it. Tunes, phone calls, and more imporantly directions from map app when I'm going somewhere unfamiliar. Just pretty damn awesome.
