There are sooo many issues with this brand and their low quality helmets. Ive had their helmets before and I saw this one and thought this is the last chance I am going to give them. Well I can say this was disappointing. The 'anti fog' visors, fog very quickly. Their helmet paint peel easily. Their helmets scratch and scuff easily easily. You can feel the low quality when wearing this brand. What about their customer service you may be asking? Well from the ones I have talked to it is clear that they're not interested in helping you out or backing up their product but would rather look for some excuse to upsell you on another helmet or make the warranty process very difficult. My opinion to you is save yourself the money and try a different helmet company.
Saw some other reviews dogging the manufacturing quality of this helmet which I believe to be total BS. After about 8 months I’ve found this to be a great helmet. One good quality area for the EXO R1 is the interior tightness all around my head which has never stopped being tight as I found with other helmets that get real loose over time. Also my helmet after many hours of riding has close to a new smell to it where other helmet interiors begin to stink very quickly. The EXO R1 face-shield open detent positions at 1/2 inch open, 1 inch open, 1 1/2 inch open, etc. to allow additional air flow into the helmet are awesome. On this helmet the face-shield will actually stay open in these positions even after getting up to speed (greater than 45mph) which is great for keeping the helmet cool on those real hot days. For many other helmets I’ve tried out, their face-shields while partially open, will immediately slam shut once you start moving say faster than 35mph, which is very very irritating. I also wear straight rim sunglasses with my EXO R1 on sunny days and find these sunglasses stay comfortable throughout the ride (note: I don’t think curved rims would work!!). I use the provided dark black shield during sunny daylight hours and I use the provided clear shield for after dusk/nighttime riding as well as darker cloudy days. The shield change out can be done in 1-2 minutes once you get used to doing it. I do the shield change-out on top of my seat while usually stopped at a gas station. After 8 months and frequent polishing of the helmet with like Windex, I see no dulling of the graphics nor colors (still looks like brand new). Overall this is an awesome light weight safe full-face helmet and most likely I will buy another Scorpion EXO R1 in a few years but just with a different graphic in order to change things up.

Bought this for my wife , size d correctly . She really likes the graphics and so does everyone that sees it . I really like the multiple density paddings , multiple absorption safety devices , light weight . Very pleased .
NOTE : When they say it is highly vented , it is not an exaggeration. Vents everywhere !. Great for the Texas heat but something to think about in other climates.
Con: When registering for the warranty it states the warranty only applies to European Union members . Well despite all the positives I started to send it back but kept it because my wife likes it . Hope it helps , stay safe , God Bless
Absolutely love this helmet! I live in the Sacramento region of California and we often ride in 90 - 100 degree temps and the vents on this thing are awesome. Plus it is a nice secure feeling snug fit that is not uncomfortably snug. After putting it on, I forget it is there. And it's light, but not feather-light. The only thing is that the straps + d-ring + plastic tab for separating the rings is a little fiddly for some reason that I haven't figured out yet. I.e. it's kinda hard to get the strap on and off with gloves on.
Super comfortable “long oval” lid, even pressure on all points around my head that’s shaped more like a melon than a cantaloupe. There are few quality helmets at this price point that fit anything other than perfectly circular heads yet this one is awesome, no “hot spots” or uncomfortable pressure points, only slightly heavier than the competition but it’s mostly due to the extreme cushioning inside. The finish is good with bold colors and graphics, appears very durable. Overall extremely satisfied with this helmet.
This helmet is perfect! We use it for dirt biking. It is snug and protective, the sizing is accurate. It arrived two weeks earlier than expected! Communication with the seller was clear and accurate. Fantastic experience, top to bottom!!
Helmets are sweet love the emergency pull out padding in them but warning!!!! You will get SLAMMED with duty if your in Canada I paid as much in duty as I did for a helmet! It sucked
