2 EACH Welding helmet magnifier/cheater lens, 2 x 4.25, 3.00 diopter, GLASS - -
Why didnt I get these sooner --just short sighted of me I guess
Now I know, what you mean when you say "Weld puddle". I watched a tig welding video and the guy said "If you can't see the weld puddle, you're doomed". Being doomed, I decided to join one of these cheaters with a quality, 4C welding helmet, and now I can clearly see the weld puddle. Wow, my welding quality instantly improved, and my frustration level instantly decreased. Mine are the 3.00 diopter. I'll probably give the 2.00 version a try too. These are made of glass, so they are kinda heavy, but I'll deal with that.
First words of advice given to any new welder: In order to weld something, you have to see what you're welding!
These lenses are great. They're made of glass (won't scratch), are easy to clean, and fit in standard size welding helmets.
I use these for TIG welding thin chrome-moly tubing and sheet, and my success has improved dramatically since I started using these lenses.
These are real glass. Glass makes all the difference in the world. Plastic scratches so easy and are useless in a short time. They fit my welding hood perfectly.
Tried these out quickly not welding, just looking at steel parts. Had very good view of the work, much better than my readers. All in all better than with glasses.

These lens are too thick to fit a Miller Pro Hobby auto darkening helmet. Had to return.
Excellent lenses, fit perfectly, no complaints, should have bought years ago.
