ok, this helmet is great! lets start with that! I love the color, just a shade lighter than black. This helmet fits very comfortable and snug. the flip up face is super handy when talking to people, or just when you need to sneeze and also, the helmet is much easier to put on when the lid is open, also when i flip down the sun visor is so great and all my buddies call me maverick. all in all a good lid for a pretty good price. now for the not so great things,

the ventilation is pretty bad on this helmet. even with the top vent open and the face vent all the way open, it can still get pretty hot when driving through town. also sing the ventilation is so low, i find that my face shield will fog up and once it starts to fog up, there is noway the vents are going to fix that so you need to just go ahead and flip up your faceshield. but other than that. its a great helmet.

Also just last week, I was rear ended on my motorcycle while wearing this bad boy and it did its job and i don't have any real head trauma, and the scratches on the side are something i can live with.
Hands down a wonderful helmet! Scorpion has notoriously tight cheek pads, but they thermo-form quite well after just a few decent rides. I couldn't care less about the modular function, but I will say, it locks down nice and secure and it isn't nearly as loud as modulars I've ridden with before. The drop down sun visor is also a life saver, although the tab to pull it down/push it up is harder to find than the one on my trusty EXO-1000 and I'm a bit bummed about that. It also fits a comm. System very well, with speaker cut outs that don't allow pressure points. I use a Sena 20S and it fits nice and flush on the side. Although if you opt to use the chin curtain like I do, you have to be careful when you utilize the modular function because the microphone will be in the way when you lift the face of your helmet and I would hate to damage my Sena; simple fix would be to not use the chin curtain if you use a comm. System, but again, I don't much care for the modular trend, and I'm keeping the chin curtain on mine for warmth and quiet. Vents are also well executed- they do more than just preventing the visor from fogging: you can actually feel a nice cooling air flow when they're open! A concept missed by many of my previous helmets.

All in all, a beautiful helmet and IMHO the best bang for your buck.
I like the options of this helmet, especially for the price. BUY A BIGGER SIZE THAN suggested. Even the bigger size will feel tight until it is broken in.
Plenty of unboxing videos and rider reviews reflect the same thing. The helmet is great for a DOT, Touring/Adventure modular helmet. There are no surprises from this helmet at all...it's exactly what I expected...maybe the only surprise is that this helmet could cost over $300 but it doesn't. If you imagine you'd like this helmet, you're probably right.
I like the helmet. Well designed and quiet. Cheek pads are tight at first. Wont give it top rating because safety rating is only DOT. Great value for price.

Description

The EXO-AT950 can be used as a full face ADV helmet with external peak visor attached, or the peak visor can be removed and you have an aerodynamic touring helmet. Our oversized eye port is extremely wide for greater peripheral vision and downward visibility, and the modular chin bar can be conveniently flipped up when you stop to get gas or ask for directions. The internal drop down Speed view sun visor and KwikWick II liner will keep you comfortable all day long even as lighting conditions change throughout the day. Additionally, the no-fog Ever clear face shield can be removed and you can use the EXO- AT950 as a dirt helmet with goggles for off-road use. Three shell sizes made of Advanced LG Polycarbonate and dual density EPS, result in a helmet that is light weight, strong, and protective.

Internal lever connection to open the chin bar broke after 6 months of regular use... Not much of a modular helmet anymore.
Very light weight
Excellent helmet, material is of quality, craftsmanship is noticeable and looks amazing. Good concealment of wind noise, Chin curtain that comes with helmet works perfectly, face vent operates flawlessly to defog windscreen. Modular interface is simple, integrated sunglasses cover the eyes just right and interior of helmet behind cheek pads can accommodate an integral Bluetooth system. Excellent product.
