Returned the helmet, because the Bonanza isn't a "new leaner, lighter, lower-profile" helmet. My major objection was the lack of a "lower-profile". The people at Biltwell confirmed there has never been a design change to this helmet. I purchased a HJC CS-5N, instead, which is much more comfortable, doesn't look as high, because it's not as narrow as the Biltwell and I also saved $25.
My Harley-Davidson HD-S1V 1/2 Helmet with pull-down shield was made by HJC. It's a great helmet, however, I wanted a 3-snap, 3/4 helmet which accommodates a full sun visor and a bubble rain shield. This Harley, made by HJC, half-helmet is very comfortable, but isn't low-profile and makes me look like a "mushroom head".
This is a great helmet if you want open face.
I rode with a half helmet for a few years but wanted to protect my ear from wind and engine noise. The Builtwell Bonanza is true to fit, intermediate oval shape, and very light weight. On the road I do not experience any buffering and the noise is muffled but I can still hear what going on around me.
I was a little skeptical as this helmet does not have any venting but being an open face I do not get overly hot.

I just didn’t like the typical closing mechanism with the buttons... I ordered a metal clip solution which is super safe and easy to assamble!

This is by far the lightest and smallest 3/4 I have found. Have used it all season now and I couldn't be happier. Very comfortable lining and chin strap. Small shell. Fits as described. The fit and feel of a 1/2 with the benefits of a 3/4. If you are looking for an aerodynamic with flip up visor and vents this is NOT the one. This is an old school style with modern materials. This summer has been brutally hot and not once did I regret wearing this helmet. I do not have a single complaint.
I've been using this helmet for about a month now. I love the comfort and fell on the helm around my dome. I has plenty of space around the ear if your the kind of person the doesn't like a helmet being tight there. I used that space to install thicker high quality speakers. Great Product!

Nice helmet. Definitely not low profile. Remember the great kazoo on The Flintstones?
Fits great, comfortable and lightweight, couldn't ask for more! Perfect fit for my head, I have a very oval shape head.
(I had tried several LS2 OF583 helmets, but none of them fits me. Large is too tight on the top and hurts my head, X-Large is just too large for me.)
