If you have the Harley-davidson Iron 883, I highly recommend getting this Memphis Shade. I don’t like having to fight the wind every time I ride and I debated for so long whether I’ll get a fairing or a windshield for my bike but concerned on how it would look. But now that I have it, I’m glad that I ordered it. Not only satisfied with the quality, I was impressed on how it was carefully packaged and delivered to me the following day. The customer service folks are professional and truly care about customer satisfaction. Thank you.
I had a windscreen on the bike before but decided to buy this one because I got tired of fighting the wind on some longer across-city highway commutes. The windshield looks great and appears very well-made. I bought the trigger lock mounting system separately and had no problems affixing the windshield to the bike.
At first, the windshield caused wind to hit my helmet directly. I guess I didn't account for my seat height when considering the height of the windshield. I had read that the height of the windshield should just barely cover your nose in order to prevent buffeting and promote aerodynamics. I liked the windshield and didn't want an even larger one like the Memphis Shade Del Rio so I adjusted the windshield to tilt towards me, exposing my entire helmet. This seems to do the trick and experienced little to no buffeting and the wind resistance to my helmet was tolerable. I like opening the face shield and getting air to my face anyways on city streets. The windshield definitely reduced wind to the body though! Longer rides are more tolerable now and I am happy with my purchase! Wish I went with this windshield first.
I was apprehensive about purchasing this item sight unseen as I did not know how it would look / if it would be enough of a windshield to do its' job. I found a couple pictures online but none that showed a mc setup like mine. I went ahead and ordered it anyway though. I am very glad I did! This changed the ride of my nightster and does an excellent job at keeping the wind off of me. I am 6'2" tall and even though it is only 13" tall, it keeps the wind off my chest and head and reduces buffeting from trucks etc. I wish I had bought this 2 years ago when I bought the bike. The build quality is great, and when combined with the trigger lock mounting kit, removal is simple and quick. There is no play in the windshield or the hardware once it is installed, and no rattle in the mechanism like some other manufacturers. This is also roughly half the price of HD's offering out the door. Would recommend to anyone!
A smaller size to fit on my chopper. Blocks the wind enough to help prevent back ache and when set correctly, keeps the wind off your face.

Perfect fit for my iron and kept the wind off my chest for my 8 hr long ride.
I wanted a windshield for my bike that reduced the wind on my chest and acted as a bug shield on my morning commutes. This works great for that. It also substantially reduces wind gust buffeting and it has improved my gas mileage by at least 5 mpg. A very pleasant surprise. The windshield and quick-release mounting hardware are very well made and the install was easy. The windshield can be removed and reinstalled in seconds. I don't like the look of windshields, so I wanted a quick release system so I could cruise after work and on weekends without one. This looks so good though that I have no need to remove it. Oh yeah, did I mention that it has SUBSTANTIALLY increased my gas mileage. It will easily pay for itself in less than a year.
More of a windbreaker than a windshield. Wanted to not feel the wind pushing on my chest and this does exactly thar. Love the wind in my face and this allows wind in my face and redirects and deflects insects up and over my head. I could not be happier. Does not interfer with visibility and the color matches perfect.
