I will start by saying this is the first modification ive done to my ninja 300. While on the highway the wind no longer hits your chest and neck, but is thrown over the helmet. Highway riding with the stock windscreen wasn't unbearable but i found myself wanting to tuck to avoid the wind. With this screen you have no reason to full tuck or even half tuck. The only time i found i needed to alter my riding position at all, was at higher speeds say 90-100 mph but even then it wasnt really necessary. Initial review. Item was well packaged with both bubble wrap filling the box and clear film protecting the wind screen itself. I reused the film to cover the stock windscreen I replaced. Install onto my 2016 ninja 300 was as close to idiot proof as possible. Just remove the mirrors, remove the stock windscreen, place the rubber vibration dampers / spacers, place the windscreen and screw the mirrors back on. Installation was slightly difficult with only one person, but doable. I did it similar to a car tire. Hand screw the bolt to get the placement then tighten.
Now, the next morning I headed out on a 230 mile group ride (all much larger and faster bikes. Except the Harley, but they don't count) from Phoenix, AZ to Prescott, AZ via back roads for the twisties. The windscreen made the highway (and faster. Shhh) speeds much more enjoyable as it reduced much of the wind buffeting I had before (I'm 5'8). Full tuck (had to at least try to keep up with the others) the vast majority of the wind, if not all, goes right over me.
One con for me, the windscreen appears to scratch easily. Hit a good size bug (I think it was a bug) and it left a decent scratch in the windscreen. Not a deal breaker, but just an fyi. Also, some people have noted that the windscrren is thinner than stock and seems to vibrate more. While it is thinner and flexes more, I don't notice it while riding (even at 110mph).
Overall, at this point I would recommend it. I might update this review in a few more months. As a taller rider the zero gravity windscreen is a wonderful addition to my Ninja 300. The stock windscreen placed the bulk of the wind-flow directly in the center of my chest at speed which was quite tiring. The Zero Gravity windscreen solves that annoying issue and moves the wind up and over my helmet at speed (which slightly tucked). If you do not care for the wind placement with the stock screen I highly recommend this as a potential solution. Very easy to install. I would suggest having some loctite to treat the bolts with before you put them back in. As shown has approx 4 inch taller profile. I have not ridden with it yet, just installed it. Very nice product. Lightly tinted. 10 minutes tops to install. Item from "Rider's Discount" showed up right on time, fit our 2014 Ninja 300 perfectly, and installed in minutes. An improvement in wind deflection over the OEM windshield, which is essentially "for show" only.

Pretty solid windscreen. It fits perfect on my 2013 Ninja 300. It blocks a lot of the wind, except for around your helmet which i expected, it’s not terrible, but definitely recommend over the stock windscreen no doubt! Bought this as an early Christmas gift for the boyfriend and he absolutely loves it's a full visor for his Ninja 300! :) In addition, expected delivery was to the 6th - 9th, but arrived on the 3rd! Amazing! Looks awesome on bike. Deflects wind off the chest. Overall awesome purchase.

Pro: Easy to store in original packaging. Unlike other products. I liked the air hole at the top so moisture isn't trapped. Nice big eye wholes so you can lock it down. Not donating this bike cover to the homeless community in Madison WI.
Con: No reflection. Not able to be used for a commuting. My bike melted the heat shelds. Highly dissatisfied.
Conclusion: Wish I would have bought the $90 Dowco Guardian Ultimate cover instead of this one.
Conclusion: if you don't need to put the cover on straight after a ride buy this cover. Save yourself $50.
But if you do need to out it on right away, keep doing research. The large will fit a sport bike perfectly. I bought mine for a 2009 Suzuki GSXR 750. I would say it is a medium thickness as compared to another cover I bought at the dealer. It has rained hard several times now and my bike has stayed dry. The storms also had some fierce winds and the cover stayed put. Good buy for the money. Seem s like a nice cover. Large fits my 2009 Ninja 250 like a glove with not much room to spare. My last cover literally disintegrated after 6 months hopefully this one will fair better. nice cover well made Great cover, looks good and protects my wife's Kawasaki Ninja 250 with a tall windshield. Fits that setup perfectly.

AGV Helmet Wind Protector for AX-8 Dual Sport - Black KIT76026999

I mean if you need one - and you will need one - it's already too late and this review is meaningless. You're going to buy this, you're going to pay too much for it, and when you're done with it, you'll buy another because like me you opted not to completely cheap out on your helmet, but to save $100 by going to the second tier. It's a far better helmet than the trash in the $150 range but it's still no Shoei or Arai...and this afterthought of a chin curtain is a daily reminder. It loves to be pulled out with your head and your chin will eventually separate its Chinese plastic from its Malaysian cloth...hence, the reason most will read this.
If you happen to be the most forward thinking genius of all time and you decide to check up on the helmet's accessories before you buy it, well congratulations! You've just discovered one of many minor disappointments with the AGV AX-8 DS helmet.
I'm on my third one. After almost losing the first one two or three times, it finally succumbed to the wind. The next one taught me to religiously press the main tabs down with my thumbs as I slide the helmet onto my gord. It's a fun little habit that will likely stick with me for years and years to come. The two main tabs you see at the base are simply sandwiched in between a pad at the chin and the shell - that's it. At the apex of the triangle is a useless little nub. I guess useless is a little bit of an exaggeration, but all it does is index the other tabs, there's zero clicking or any method of retainment alone. Not pictured are two more tabs that are designed fine on their own, but fit loosely into floppy rubber on the helmet. They're constantly coming out.
Is not dicking around with a crappy chin curtain worth $100? I can't speak for everyone, but I can tell you what helmet I won't be buying next. Just as describes, a little bit expensive but good. It is exactly the part that goes below your yaw to prevent cold air, mosquitos or water to come in. fell apart 1st use i had an old one from a FLY street bike helmet been using for a year now

SpecificationReplacement wind protector Helmet Wind Protector for AX-8 Dual Sport Breath deflector for DOT FMVSS No. 218 Certified Helmet
DescriptionReplacement wind protector. Helmet Wind Protector for AX-8 Dual Sport
Easy to install, plenty of space for angle adjustment and fits beautifully on my 2020 Rebel 500. Riding in cold weather and even rain is much better. Only wish it was 4" higher because as it is, while the wind on my torso is improved greatly, the wind noise at my helmet increased significantly. I'm now looking for a lip to help with that. its a nice shield, but did not fit my bike right, so i had to return it. brilliant screen, good strong fibreglass, very easy to fit, stays in place at high speeds, easy to adjust.

National Cycle F-16 Sport Windshield - Dark Tint N2526

: National Cycle F-16 Sport Windshield - Dark Tint N2526: Automotive
I just finished restoring a 1993 Suzuki GS500E back from a non-running full disarray of a mess. Went through all the mechanicals and of course cosmetics (paint was BAD!) to bring it to it's current state you see in the pictures. First couple of rides I realized what a difference a windscreen makes like I'm used to on other sport bikes. So, sorta reluctantly, even though I was going for a "naked street" look a windscreen was in order. I didn't want any traditional front cowl or fairings involved so I found this and very glad I did. Install was very simple and it's quite secure. Now instead of taking the brunt of the passing air into my chest the windscreen deflects it up to about shoulder height and across my helmet which obviously is much more aerodynamic than my straight across chest. So as well as being highly functional I think it looks pretty decent on the machine. It also allows my gauges to be better protected as a bonus. Now some technical notes. My headlight bucket is 8" diameter which makes the mount width of the screen about 8-1/2" once brackets and washers were accounted for. Also, I used some black rubber washers (not supplied) that went between the screen polycarbonate and metal on inside and out to avoid cracking it and give it just a little bit more flex to help avoid any breakage. This is a great looking windshield. Fits my 2007 Honda CB900F perfect. The stock hardware doesn’t provide strong enough hold IMO, so I recommend buying the National Cycle mounting kit for a more secure fit. It’s pricey but worth buying for cleaner more stable install. There is some minor tilt adjustment achieved since mounting holes are slotted on windshield which is nice. I am 6’-5” tall and with this installed the wind when riding 80mph on highway is more pronounced at my helmet. It does deflect some wind off my chest compared to naked bike. If u want total wind blockage this is not the windshield for you but if u want some deflection and a great shade for your gauges plus it looks cool, this is the windshield for you. Good bang for the buck. Fits perfectly around my gauges without making contact. I have about 1/4” of gap between gauge cluster and inside of windshield. By using the mounting kit sold separately this thing remains rigid. I really like this fairing. It looks AWESOME on my 93 Honda Nighthawk 750. At least in my opinion. It doesnt do much for wind deflection though. I can actually tuck down some, and when I do, I can tell the air is slipping over me. SO it is doing something. Just doesnt do much at normal riding position. I am 6'4 though, so your results my vary. Install was fine, instructions are good. Ide buy this again! Very satisfied with this purchase. Provides the perfect wind screen i need I recently purchased this for my Suzuki SV650. It is a significant improvement over the stock mini wind screen. I am 5,8 and this screen takes the wind off my chest and at highway speeds the the wind hits the lower third of my helmet and reduces helmet buffeting. It comes with some hardware which was unnecessary for the SVn. The screen will mount directly onto the stock naked mounting bracket. However If you want the maximum windscreen height and optimal angle you will have to modify the screen by lifting the screen to it's max height on the vertical eyelets which are the headlight housing bolts (The screen fits best between the outer steel plate and the inner mounting bracket) and then drill holes below the horizontal eyelets so that they align with the flange on the stock bracket.

I just received this windshield a couple of days ago. I really like the styling of the shield and it fits my motorcycle very well, a 1995 Honda Nighthawk 750. The installation was a little tricky on my bike though. The slots for the bolts were too narrow for my stock bolts so I had to use the extended bolts that came with the windshield kit. I thought I would be able to just unscrew the nuts inside my headlight housing but that wasn't the case. The nuts seems to be tacked onto the headlight housing so I simply drilled from the outside of the housing through the back of the nuts and the extended bolts then slipped right through and were plenty long enough. If you look at the pictures I added you can see where the extended bolts stick out further on the side of the headlight. My only concern is the amount of flex in the shield, it sure does like to "wave" as you are moving. I do like the amount of airflow I get from it though. I live where it routinely gets +100 degrees in the summer and just commuting to work can really suck. I need some coverage to reduce the push from the wind on a naked bike but want a good flow to get cooled down, this shield provides that. I use a National Cycle PlexiFairing II in the winter to keep the cold air from getting to me. So far I have no qualms recommending this to anyone that wants a bit of coverage for their torso and really think the styling is great. Oh yeah, FYYFF. After taking a couple of longer rides with this shield I realized the "waving" or flexing of the shield is most pronounced at slow speeds. The shield actually stabilizes as you pick up speed and moves very little at speeds over 50MPH. A great shield now. The shield is great but I don't understand what is up with the piece of junk mounting kit. So they need to put the right kit in the deal and do it right. Have one on my Honda 919. Fits great and looks great.

(Don’t lay it flat it will drain the battery)I returned one because I thought it was a defect because battery would not last more than hour. I bought another and the same problem. I charged again and tried laying on its side. Now I charge it once a week. Also I now hang it on the wall to prevent the battery from discharging. It’s a great fit and loud enough to hear when wearing ear plugs for hearing protection. Outstanding! Got lucky thought my expensive helmet would just sit around when everyone else had Sena helmets. Then I found this very happy with my purchase Like everything

I was bummed that the kit didn't come with the number plate, (the plastic around the headlight). My mechanic had to modify the right side panel because ribbing on the underside wouldn't let it fit onto the motorcycle frame. Cutting off the excess plastic, the grinder blade grabbed and cut a visible notch into the brand new plastic. Real nice all new, just the clips for the air box cover you have to recover from your original plastics and they are super tuff to get out without breaking. No headlight
