Nice Bright Orange, Mohawk stays standing. It is attached by using a large Velcro strip which is provided. It might leave a sticky residue or peal the helmet shell if taken off. However, just slapping on a different color Mohawk or even getting the Pony tails would be simple since the main strip would already be on the helmet. It definitely turns heads, brings smiles and countless thumbs up!!

the Mohawk was great was a tiny bit disappointed that it was a double sided sticky tape but that's my fault I didn't read the description other than that the Mohawk is great and holds on to the helmet and tested at 150 miles per hour
I bought this for a Christmas gift. I was surprised to find it had a peel and stick set up for the installation. I didn't realize until after my son opened it, it was Velcro. I think I will like it better than the suction cups but I won't be able to change helmets when he gets bigger.

Grandson loved it!
Easy to attach, looks wicked
Extremely disappointed. No adhesive on the velcro strip, now need to figure out an alternative adhesive to even make it useable. Don't bother spending the money.
