I have been trying to find a replacement for a pair of sunglasses I lost a few years ago. I wasn't expecting much for the price, but was pleasantly surprised at the optical quality and construction. The "brown" tint is the type that enhances colors, and the glasses did a good job at keeping wind from curling under and around the lens to make your eyes water. Very happy, especially at the price they sell for
if you order the orange note that the actual color is like 3x darker than the pic, almost the brownish red/orange of old lady sunglasses but not quite. as for fit thay are ok but vary open around the eyes especially on the sides. i have not rode with them yet [rainy today] but because of the openness and almost complete failure to seal around the eyes, my hopes are not high for them being of any use for riding. even if the wind was completely stopped I just cant see more than 3 stars. the feel just dosent inspire much confidence in them. 3 stars edit... just used them to go to corner store. The verdict... completely useless even at 35mph. O and no case, just a fabric bag. also don't see how you could RX them. thin plastic lenses are both connected as one piece and cannot be removed. not even worth the trouble to return. sad i wanted so much to like them
Bobster Shield 2's have served me well on my motorcycles for a few years now. Very good for the price and way less painful to lose than 300 dollar Maui Jim's. The "amber" isn't as dark as the stock photo suggests. They're more of a light orange. Also, don't get these if your eyes are sensitive to wind. They don't seal to your face like goggles do. The edge padding is only a spacer for eyelashes, puffy eyelids after too many tequilas, etc.
Does not fit my face snug enough so wind protection is poor. The inside padding that suppose to touch your face are not even close to touching my face. I have other low priced, wrap around sunglasses that provide much better win protection.
Love these. Have worn them for years. Just one pair of glasses for night & day riding.
