Not the best looking shield but it definitely works! Huge difference over the stock. For me being 5' 6 it might be a touch to tall. During the day it's great but at night w the shield being so dark I had to really sit up to see over it cause your not seeing through it in the dark. Almost feel like it creates a blind spot cause to see obstructions in the road-bumps, potholes ect-I have to keep my view for them out in the distance. I'm gonna look into the 8 inch. Trial and error unfortunately but at least it didn't cost me an Arm and a leg to experiment. It's definitely worth trying if your in the market for one. Oh-and I am still on the stock seat, an after market that sinks me down and more into the bike would probably make it even harder to see. Not easy being short : )
Excellent windshield for my 2018 Kawasaki Vaquero. I am six feet tall and this directs the wind buffering over my head. It essentially made my radio alot louder. Most likely because the buffering was drowning out most of the sound. So for the price of this windshield and what you get for the price this thing is excellant. Feels like a solid windshield. And unlike a different brand I purchased this windshield fits perfectly. A previous brand I purchased installed and looked cheap as heck and you could even see it flexing in the wind. This one was actually cheaper but fit better and feels like a more solid material. If you have a Vaquero and would like I windshield I highly recommend you purchase this one first and give it a try.
***UPDATE**** After having this on for less than 50 miles, a small rock hit it and it cracked about 6"s. the company decided to refund about 40% of what I paid. DO NOT ORDER> NOT SAFE WILL NOT GUARANTEE EVEN IF IT'S ALMOST NEW. I received the 10" screen today. It came fast and was packaged well even with UPS beating the crap out of the box. Took about 5 minutes to install and yes I used a drill set on 3 torque setting. A low torque setting and it will not crack the plastic. As for it being thicker or more rigid than OEM.....toss that out the window. OEM is noticeably more rigid and much thicker. OEM also doubles the thickness where the fasteners go in...smart. Beyond the claim of rigidness this serves it's purpose well. I threw it on just to test it out and was doing 70+ and wind was minimal. Stock radio was at 16 and clear when I usually have it cranked up to 23-24 at 60mph and still can't hear it. Definitely worth the money especially if you're highway driving. It doesn't look as good as stock, but it's utilitarian. I did take the little name wings sticker off that made it look better. Maybe on the black screen they could put a subdued sticker on, maybe a black and grey??? Just a thought. Overall if you're looking for a decent windscreen at a fair price, this one works well.
I was concerned that at 5'7" I was going to have an issue with this windshield but after installing it and taking it for a ride, its perfect. The one I had before this was a 13" clear. I had 2 concerns with this one. First was that it wasn't going to deflect the wind like the 13" did. IT DID!!!! I still hear the radio just as good and do not have wind noise at all.
Second concern was being able to see through it. The 13" clear I looked mostly through it to see in front of me. This one being 3 inches shorter, I don't have to look through it, I am looking just over it to see down the road, and as for seeing closer in front of me, in the daytime, I have no problems seeing through the dark shield to see the road directly in front of me.
I have not ridden it at night yet to be able to have an opinion on seeing through it at night.
The smoke shield definitely looks better on the bike then the clear one!!!
Exactly what I was looking for. I installed this windshield onto my 2018 voyager. With me being 5'11 the 10 in. is perfect. The plastic is just as thick as the stock windshield that comes on the bike. It is a dark windshield so if you shorter than my height then you might what to go with a shorter windshield. Easy to install, I used the same metal bracket and screws that come on the factory windshield. The hardware is not included so if you don't want to reuse what came on the factory windshield, order hardware from the Kawasaki website. Very pleased with this product!

I'm 6' and this is perfect for me. I easily see over the shield and the amount of wind it blocks is amazing. It doesn't look as cool as the original, but really doesn't take too much away from the styling. I wouldn't go any bigger, because there's no need. Feels a bit flimsy and I don't know how long it will last but at $50 you cant beat the opportunity to try a size. I didn't want to Spend $150 - $250 on a windshield that I didn't know if it would work or not. Great decision.
Good quality, not flimsy. Just like OEM. Keep in mind, this is a SHORTER windshield then stock (Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager) so if you have an open face helmet, you will get a lot more wind, dust, dirt, bugs, etc. in your face than what you are used too. Also, you can not see the road very well through the windshield because of the tint. But that is why you want this is for the looks, right? Looks fabulous on the bike and gives it the custom look I wanted.
Way better than expected!! Bought this mainly to cut down the wind noise on the highway so I could hear the radio and did the job better than expected! Stock stereo is so much louder sounding now. I'm 5'8 and now the wind at highway speeds rolls just over the windshield and over the helmet now instead of right between the eyes. Quality is really good for the price! Looks good on the bike and took less than 5 minutes to install.
This is garbage they are Selling . Slipstream . A big waste of money
