First thing. Life time warranty, we like to travel. And was looking for a bag with a little more room and if it’s not enough it gives you 3 more inches. We did our research for the quality and the money. It came down to this or Harley overnighter and even the Harley suitcase. This hands down. From strapping on the bike , to the neatness of tucking away the extra strapping the grey color inside is perfect for finding your things . They really thought this through . I’m hoping it gives us years of use. With a lifetime Warranty perfect for us.
I couldn't find an answer to the parachute clips (the proper name of the plastic buckle system that's common) anywhere in regards to the straps that buckle and their dimensions. These are 1 inch parachute buckles with a 1/4 center channel that has a closed channel tip.
The center channel is designed like railroad track, but laid sideways like this I-I. In order to attach these to the Cortech Super 2.0 saddle bags, a simple dremel/filing the tip to expose/open the tip allows this to PERFECTLY slide into the female end of the included parachute buckle sewn into the Cortech bags. The small modification Nelson-Rigg buckle allows the Cortech female end to fit inside; Cortech has a groove of plastic where this center channel slides into place.
For anyone looking for a fast, secure and compatible platform, these fit perfectly together.
The size and style of this tailbag marry perfectly together. The Cortech bags are more expandable and hold more than the equivalent Nelson-Rigg bag. But this tailbag is like adding a trunk to your bike. Upside the weight is more forward in comparison to a Hardcastle. This has the same or similar capacity as a hardcase. Only downsides, and it's obvious, is a softcase like this isn't as secure (thief-wise) as a hardcase or as weather-proof.
For reference this capacity swallows my Scorpion AT950 2XL helmet with the peak attached, when expanded. But the best part is customizing it for a quick release I hoped for, and the ability to take the entire case with me into a hotel during a tour/road trip. 4 buckles and its off!!!
I received a new helmet but it was too big to store in the front of my CanAm Spyder, so I looked up storage products and found this perfect item...stores even more than my helmet, fits perfectly and easy to add to my Spyder, makes for a good backrest AND looks great.
Great quality product. Not only well built, but also designed for easy installation. Discrete storage of excess straps using elastic bands that are camouflaged to look just like the band material. Great design !
I recently bought this for a 10-day trip. There was plenty of room for my clothes and toiletries and it was very easy to put on and take off. It stayed in place on my luggage rack even when riding the expressway and winds. I can't attest to it being waterproof as we never experienced any rain, but I would definitely recommend this product.

This fits on the "small" luggage rack on my R Nine T and gives me a storage space to keep my rain slicker and ball cap and a compact emergency battery crank unit. When I stop I can get my full helmet and gloves in it and it will hold a small amount of groceries or take out food. It also has it's own rain slicker. Nelson-Rigg makes good stuff.
The weekender bag is just the right size for my bike. It's Nelson Rigg so lifetime warranty and quality throughout.
Love this bag. Rain cover fits great with Velcro ports for straps. Can fit my full shield helmet into it no problem. Looks great. Went on a trip with a dozen guys. They all loved it. Expect some additional customers. Price is great also.
