Two weeks was all it took for the plastic that holds the visor closed to break off, so now I can't 'lock' the visor closed.
The slide on the left side of the helmet that drops the tinted visor down is ABHORRENTLY noisy at highway speeds.
The tinted visor wasn't installed correctly when I pulled it out of the box, a seven minute YouTube video on how to remove those visors was all it took to fix it myself. But a product should be working correctly from the get-go.
Opening and closing the visor was SO Difficult, the entire helmet would slide up and down on my head whenever I'd try, so I just left it closed at stoplights. I could open it with two hands but it still sounded as though the visor was going to break off. It was Way Too Tight!
The vents WORK on this thing. They did not work at all on my LS2 Stream helmet but I don't really care about vents anyway.
I'm not going to get this helmet again, I'm not happy with it at all.
I've owned some high end helmets, and this is not one. BUT, for the price point, I don't think you can beat it. Wind noise is not bad at all, I haven't noticed any buffeting, the shields are optically clear and the ventilation works well. Not a fan of the thicker bottom 1/8" of the outer shield - hardly noticeable when shut tight, and no detented "de-fogging" position, but these are really minor gripes. The shape felt a little strange at first, like there's more room outside your ears, which I think will accommodate speakers nicely. The flip down sun shield is almost as dark as I would like, does alright when riding straight toward the sun, and I hardly notice the gap between it and the chinbar after about a week. And I must say, that feature in a $100 helmet is nuts. A quick note on helmet fitment. If you put on a brand new helmet, IT SHOULD BE QUITE TIGHT! Not headache tight, but If it doesn't push your cheeks up, you need to buy a size smaller. The foam will eventually conform to your head. Search around in Amazon too, if you don't mind a different color or pattern, there are deals. I found this for $84, most listings were right around 100. Arai larges fit me perfect, in this I needed an XL.
The first helmet I received arrived at my house defective, i called the sellers listed out of Canada (Euromoto) and spoke with Maddie. She was more than helpful and did what she could to resolve the issue.
The part that was defective was the orange clip on the right side of the helmet that holds the internal sun visor. It looks like it was forced in there and a piece actually broke off inside the helmet. When I spoke to Maddie, she looked to see first if she could find a replacement part first, so that I wouldn't have too much downtime. She emailed me back after i spoke to her and she said she couldn't find that part as it was not replaceable unlike the exterior visor parts. She emailed me shipping labels in PDF form and I shipped the helmet back. I didn't pay for shipping back to Canada. She shipped out a new helmet the day after I sent her the tracking info. She also made sure to check the helmet beforehand to make sure everything was good.
I got a new helmet in proper working condition and I have no complaints. Helmet size is XXL and fits nice and snug on my head. It provides pretty good airflow and although i had my earplugs in, I didn't notice much wind noise either. Although I could hear my moto and surrounding noises great.
All in all, great helmet, great customer service. Although I did receive a defective item, it was resolved promptly. I have not complaints so far. If I do decide to update my review I will. I have uploaded the pictures of the first defective helmet so that it may help others.
I have a 4XL Typhoon Helmet that fits a bit large. Thought I'd try a better quality helmet and go down one size to a 3XL. Was excited to get this helmet and it is not even close to allowing my head to fit in it. It fits my wife fine, but she wears a Medium Modular Helmet. She wondered if it was a 3XL Youth, but it says Adult and the label in the helmet does say 3XL, so it is not like I received the incorrect size. Other than that, the helmet seems nice. Returned it because of the small size.
Great helmet. I really like the design of the chin strap that allows to easily strap on and off. For the price I was very surprised how good the quality was on the helmet. It looks great and fits well. The dual visor system is also a very nice feature to have. I never had any wind buffeting issues I read on a couple of other reviews. As soon as I got the helmet I noticed a big difference in aerodynamics compared to my older (and cheaper) helmet.
If I had to come up with a con I would say the inside visor is difficult to reinstall once you take it out to clean. That is a pretty minor issue and once you have done it once or twice it is probably much easier.

I don't know how this thing is DOT approved, this thing can be squeezed together with your hands. Bought it for the price and features like the inner tinted visor, but the thing is barely tinted and is a pain to slide up and down. The outer clear visor scratches all over and doesn't have detents so you can open it just enough to let air in. Wind noise is terrible ear plugs are a must. The Quick lock chin strap is fast but digs into my throat at all times. The only positive is that it accepts the Senna Integrated audio system which costs More than this helmet and is also not that great. Save your money, buy a real helmet.
It matches my 2018 MT-09 (gray/black/high vis neon) perfectly! The tab that holds the windscreen in place broke off from closing the visor normally one day. See, the helmet arrived with the visor improperly attached/adjusted to the helmet from the factory so it always leaked air and had a terrible wind noise from the start, and also because of that terrible fitment, the tab to snap the visor in place broke right off in my hand. Reviews said it ran small, so I bought a 2x and it’s still a bit large on me and I generally wear a 2x. The tinted visor fogs immediately if I am not riding. Especially here in the humid FL weather. I like the helmet overall. I want a replacement that works properly, as mine should’ve from the beginning. But it’s very comfortable. I’d love it if the visor closed properly and blocked the wind.
Hi guys, I am a big guy 6ft tall, 100 kg with 62 cms head circumference. People like us find it difficult to find a good fitting full face helmet.
LS2 is a great manufacturer for the big Guys like us. The XXL LS2 helmet fits perfectly in my 62 cms head.
Hi all, I have used many helmets...based on that experience I would like to mention the following
Pros
1. Fit n finish of the outer shell, inner foam padding is Good.
2. Good sound proofing
3. Visor with inbuilt sunshade serves the purpose
4. Well all round ventilation inside the helmet
Cons
1. Your peripheral vision is hampered due to thick padding and shell. You need to literally turn your head to see the vehicles passing on your left/ right
2. The synthetic wind deflector under the chin has cracked over a period of 4 months. Though its a nice design
