Installed the Kuryakyn #1764 (Black Stem & Chrome Mirror) on my Rebel cmx500. The pack w/Two Black Replacement Adaptors & the pack w/Four Allen Head Adaptors can be pitched (won't fit)! The 3-pack of chromed step-down bolts is the correct package and one of the 3 bolts is reversed threads and needs to be installed on the right side of the bike (right side when sitting on the bike). The other 2 bolts are regular (righty-tighty threads). The right mirror removal is a clock-wise rotation of the upper nut and the mirror itself to loosen and remove. I transferred my black rubber covers from the old mirrors (before installing), to hide the chrome stems (which made tightening the nuts a little more challenging) but the covers hide the chrome well. I took the right side mirror off first, removed the nut from the mirror stem, and used the nut to find the correct reversed-threaded stem in the package! (that way I'm not guessing & stripping out the threads on the bike! The mirrors give me a wider, rock steady view (no shake)! I worried I'd hear a whistle between the ulna and radius bones at higher speeds but didn't! Very Happy!
When I got my first bike I fell for the design of these mirrors, the thing was that I bought the Chinese knock offs. Dreadful! just out of my inexperience at installing them, it took me about a month to set'em properly, still didn't work and completely screwed the original threads on my bike.

These mirrors, on the other hand, are sturdy, easy to install, zero to none vibration on my VN900C, the looks are sick and once installed and adjusted they stayed as they are, no movement at all. I just love them, nothing can beat the genuine pieces. 100% recommended and so the seller. It took only a week to be delivered to Colombia, South America, fast and awesome nothing else to say.

Do not pay any attention to the brain donors commenting negatively regarding the hands being anatomically incorrect, because that is completely false. They are perfect in that department.

5 stars overall would definitely buy them again as a present or just to have a spare.
I have tried a couple pairs of the cheaper mirrors, nothing would stand up to a large V-twin engine (110 cubic inch) as the vibration made it impossible to see anything out of the mirrors. THESE KURYAKYN mirrors do not vibrate, I CAN SEE! Amazed at the quality and craftsmanship. Fast shipping and very simple to install as they came with just about every fitting you could ever need.
Fits great, no custom work needed. Tightened all up, set screw tightened and adjusted view. They don't move even at very high speeds, no vibration other than normal that even the OEM had, and I can see a lot better than before, they stick out a little farther. I'm very happy with this purchase, I highly recommend them and I would buy them again with no hesitation.
I'm no super motorcycle enthusiast, but I love my bike and am exceedingly suspicious and picky about everything that goes in my bike.

Several reviews state that the mirror moves around in its own. Looking at my mirror and honestly how stubborn it is to move when I want it to do. I cannot see the validity in this claim.

The mirrors look much much better in person than they do in any of the pictures.

I have an almost completely blacked out bike minus some subtle chrome accents. And this topped it off perfectly.

My one main issue with these mirrors is that out of all the different adapters it comes with.. Only one is black.. I have a blacked out bike.. With black mirrors, bit I have to resort to random stainless mounting hardware.. They look very out of place with little to no alternative.

I'm thrilled with this product as far as fit, and looks. But the mounting hardware is a huge turn off for me.

Another disclaimer.
These mirrors are a touch bigger than they seem and about 1.5-2 inches taller than OEM. Not enormous, but not smaller.

I'd absolutely recommend this product, if they'd fix the mounting hardware and offered more "black bike friendly" alternatives.

I purchased these mirrors for my old motorcycle which I sold. Then I went cheap and bought the knock off versions for my new motorcycle and they were cheaply made, the fake chrome peeled and they looked like dog poop. I threw them away and purchased these Kuryakan mirrors again and they are amazing still.
These are heavy and don't vibrate like the cheaper iterations. The only caveat is the allen screw at the base needs to be re-tightened several times after installation. I suspect this is because it is setting against threads and as the threads compress it loosens a little. Other than that (which is probably common to all mirrors like this) I love it. I put it on my 2016 Indian Dark Horse and it looks like my bike ripped the mirrors off a less fortunate bike... :-) N.B.- If you install on an Indian, you will need mirror extensions or remove the lid from the brake master cylinder. CAUTION: The reservoir is designed to be opened with the bike on its kickstand or the brake fluid will spill! I had mine upright on my Droptail motorcycle stand and learned the hard way.
I love them, however, they aren't real adjustable and they were not an exact fit as I had to grind off the insides of each to fit against the brake Master cylinder and the Reverse Switch housing. It took several attempts at mounting and grinding before I got them where I wanted and now they are great!! I installed mine on a 2010 Harley-Davidson TriGlide and the purchase selection guide said they were a fit. One other thing, no instructions, which wasn't a major problem but they give you a little bag with lots of "mounting hardware" so you have to just guess what to use.
Great product
look really cool on the bike and vibrate less then the stock ones.
