Good and dark smoke tint. I think this might be the fourth or fifth smoke visor that I've installed on my AC-10. I usually replace my visors on an either 'as needed' or annual basis. I actually managed to not scratch my last one, it lasted 3 seasons before one of the mounting tabs finally wore to the point of fatigue failure.
I suspect this will be the last HJ-05 visor I purchase. Not because I'm unhappy - but the AC-10 helmet they go on is going to turn into a shelf helmet. I just ordered a new modular helmet from a different manufacturer to replace it.
It took some serious finagling to finally get it fully installed properly on my helmet. It doesn't seal on the rubber gasket very well. But it has stayed on and visibility is good.
Works better than expected. Cuts down glare at night.

The shield arrived packaged in a rather small box.
Initially I was quite concerned that the new shield would have scratch or rub marks from the packaging.
The shield attached to my helmet with ease and functions quite well. The clarity of vision is very good.
I needed a new visor and went to a local store they told me that it wasn't available anymore so I bought a new helmet and returned it the next day, got on line and ordered the HJC helmet visor perfect fit.
There's nothing like having a happy helmet head!
I wish it came with installation instructions. A youtube video showed me how to put it on. It is wayyy better than my old, scratched mirrored visor. Fit my HJC Sy-Max which origainally had a HJ-05
