Great product for upgrading your bars from 7/8" to 1 1/8".
It needs to be said for people who don't understand what these are...... These. are. adapters.
They don't fit whatever bar size you happen to have. It's "universal" because it can work with any top clamp from any make/model that has built in bar mounts for a 7/8" set of handlebars.
If you want risers, this isn't for you. If you want a slight rise while upgrading from 7/8 to 1 1/8 bars then this IS for you.
UNLESS, you are one of the few people who want to do this on a DR650 or a CRF 150RB.... then in the case of the DR, you'll need to use the stock bolts to mount the adapter to the existing bar mounts and in the case of the 150R, you'll need to chop the bolts.
I've asked ProTaper if they offer a shorter set of mounting bolts. Will see what they come back with.
Needed 1 1/8" clamps to replace the factory handlebars on my DR650 with fat bars. NOTE: you will need to use the OEM bolts to so this.
These are nice, high quality clamps.
Used these to install their Adventure bars on my '77 Yamaha XS650 tracker/scrambler build. They bolt on nice and easy thru the stock rubber bushings...for XS650 guys, you'll use the oem top steel washer plate but ditch the bottoms for the included (wide) washer with these risers as the Pro Taper bolt is too thick to fit thru the oem bottom washer/plate hole.
If only Pro Taper would make a full 7/8" Adventure bend bar we wouldn't need to waste $$ on riser mods...but they don't so we do. But hey, at least I get to throw their logo/name all over my bike again. Yay branding!
They are NOT universal. Bolts are too large for my factory triple clamps. My time and money officially wasted.
Cant beat pro taper. The mounts are strong sturdy and reliable. The bar fit perfect. Wouldn't choose any other mount. Love it. However if you are wanting to do what I did. The bolts that come are to long to be put through the top yoke so i just used some 10mm bolts and ground down one edge then rounded off the other corners. Turned my 07 gsxr1000 into a different bike. Comfortable as ever.

Had a Pro Taper fat 1 1/8 bar with adapter to fit 7/8 clamp, ordered these removed my 7/8 clamps, drilled out washers to 1/2" (the size of bolts that mount clamps to triple top clamp) on rubber cone tapered bushings that were OEM, threw away OEM spacers, mounted these on stock holes (no need to drill out top triple clamp, holes are plenty big) with OEM modified bushing and torqued to specs provided in instructions that came with clamps worked PERFECT on My DRZ400SM.
This was purchased for installation with Pro Taper Contour Woods High handlebars on a 2011 Suzuki DR650 The mount is quality constructed. These will install on a DR650 as long as you use the original bolts as the ones supplied were not designed to fit on the DR. These mounts are not compatible with the TCI Windscreen because the bolt heads are recessed into the mount. If you wish to use these and install a TCI Windscreen you will have to buy two longer bolts and stack washers into the recess until they are flush with the face of the top of the mount. Anyway, I could go on but I won't, they are a good product.
Used these to replace the stock bar clamp risers on a 2001 CR125R. They fit perfectly with the factory bushings. No modification was necessary. Coupled with the ProTaper EVO bars, they look and work great.
Fits perfectly on my drz400sm.
