My last cover cost me right around $289 from Harley Davidson. It was a great cover and really stood up well against the sun and rain here in So Cal. But after 5 years it just started to come apart. So I was in need of a new cover but I didn't want to spend near as much as I did the first time.
Found a cheap cover on ebay...it was junk. So thin that I knew it would not last a week let alone another few years.
That is when I discovered this cover by Badass Moto Gear. I had my doubts but reviews spoke volumes so I picked one up. As soon as I pulled it out of the bag I was immediately impressed. This is a well built cover with quality material. I dare say it looks and feels beefier than my old HD cover and that is saying something.
I'll have to wait for winter to see how it does in the rain but so far so good. I expect this to last me awhile for sure.
I bought this to cover my 2008 HD Softail Custom and it fits perfectly.

So for the past 6 months or so this cover has been starting to fall apart due to the sunlight here in So Cal. I expected this cover to last me a good long time but ultimately its just not well made. My harley branded cover was more expensive but lasted much longer. I suppose I should have just spent more money.
This Badass Moto Gear cover was great for awhile but it is litterly falling apart and making a terrible mess all over my bike.
This is the toughest feeling cover I've bought. It covers my 2009 Concours 14, I also have a Givi that wouldn't fit under the cover. I've resorted to buying a new cover every year. I live in Georgia and evidently nothing lasts longer than a year. This cover actually feels like it might do the job. It's tougher than any of the others, I would put it just little weaker than a military tent. I'll update this in a year.
It's been almost a year, I'm satisfied with the purchase still. I really like this cover. It may last another year, I'm not sure. The new pictures (last three) show that the cover has faded quite a bit, but the material still feels strong. No rips, not tears, just fading.
EXCELLENT! BEAUTIFUL COVER, EXCELLENT FIT ON MY 2000 V-Star 1100 Classic, with or with the saddle bags and "switchblade" windshield. I bought another cover from a website that was supposed to be "JUST MOTORCYCLE COVERS"- what a piece of crap. And they don't want to let me return it. Don't make the same mistake I did. Just buy this cover now. I seriously doubt you will find a better cover at any price. This would be worth the money at twice the price- but you don't have to pay twice the price. It is vented, it has heat shields where the pipes touch the cover, it has reflective surfaces to be visible at night, elastic all around the bottom, and a clip to secure it, and brass grommets if you want to add a lock. It comes in a convenient zippered case for easy storage- then there's the "Badass" logo on the front. Simply the best cover I have found.
UPDATE: I have a Suzuki Sport bike I just finished restoring and I need a cover, so naturally I went for a Badass cover. My VStar 1100 is still wearing the Badass cover I bought 3 years ago. It's faded, but that's about it. Has stood up to 3 years of New England weather, outdoors all summer and stored in the barn during the winter. I still say "Stop shopping and buy this cover".
It seems really durable, and it fits snug-ly over my 09 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic, with the windshield, and passenger backrest still on it. Even fits over the saddlebags. It was easy to put on, and only took a couple minutes.
I would however like if it included a few more reflectors. Because I live in an apartment, covered parking is limited, and I'm worried someone might park, and not see my bike. Having it be a little more visible would be preferable, but nothing to deduct a star for. It has a couple riveted O-rings on the bottom, near the front tire, to which I attached some rubber tie downs. It includes a strap with buckle that goes underneath the bike. So if it ever does blow off (which I highly doubt) it will still stay with the bike.

Love this cover for my motorcycle! I needed a cover at the last minute and ordered it from Amazon and received it just in time for our trip. I didn't have an opportunity to try it on so I was hoping it would fit my Honda 750 Shadow, which has a windshield, a backrest and leather saddle bags. I inquired and received an answer from someone on the site that a large should fit and they were right. I love the fit and the fact that it has venting to prevent the bike from getting all wet underneath from moisture. It worked exactly as they said it would. I even got it to fit back into the little plastic storage bag, although that wasn't easy. The second time I just stuffed it into a saddle bag, which is probably what I'll do from now on. We did have rain on this trip but my bike stayed nice and dry.
This cover is much better than ones I've had in the past. It's a heavier material and appears well made.

Great cover! Fits my large Triumph Rocket with room to spare. Much heavier material than other covers, such as dowco. Double vents and metal gromets for a cable cover lock. Time will tell how it holds up, but so far I am very happy with the quality.
8/1 The cover is working out great, it’s actually a little big so I have a separate nylon strap to put around the middle and take some of the flap out of it when it’s windy. Its been 100% waterproofs, not sure what other reviewers are talking about. I will say it is fading out quickly in the sun, portions of the cover are turning a whitish gray from the suns effects. Hoping that doesn’t impact the integrity of the material.
I have never recommended a bike cover throughout my entire years of biking. But this is well worth the money!
Material is is top notch quality very durable
Wind proof because it has elastic material all around the bottom.
The belt that clicks in under is still going strong it’s been months not a single sight of possible tear or wear on it.
Very waterproof but that’s obvious however many of my previous covers weren’t as good as this one. My bike has been bone dry during a storm.
Might need to improve the heat resistance a little bit my exhaust has slightly melted some of the material but only through the first layer!
Fits my Kawasaki ninja just right.
