Application- I installed this windscreen on a 2015 Bonneville T100. My goal was take some wind off my body/chest at modest highways speeds, but allow some airflow so I won't bake a s bad on warm days. Full/tall screens block a great deal of wind and are quieter, but can be hot on warm weather rides. Price wise, although any money wasted is not good, in the search for a workable windscreen, it's hard not to start with these at sub $50. They're about as inexpensive as you'll find and are of very good build and material quality. Note-I ordered from Amazon. The first arrived without hardware; they were quick about replacing it. I had also contacted Puig, who responded promptly.
Function- I am 5'-11” with very normal body proportions. Overall, it functions well. It is positioned so when I look down, my line of sight is parallel with the screen angle.. I found it diffuses and directs wind away from my torso well. Wind hits me about in my neck to bottom of the helmet. I had to make a trip on a highway with Up to 60ish mph, it's nice and I'm very pleased with performance. Beyond 70mph, I doubt few screens can perform well in these conditions. I did find at high speeds and with my less-than-optimum aerodynamic helmet experienced little buffeting; more like a light chatter when the wind hit my helmet face shield. I moved body position around my bike and found the air flow was more comfortable sitting higher in the saddle, but the never found any position bad. Regardless, I'm happy with the results.
Looks- While subjective, I like the look although the screen does sit rather high over the top of the headlamp. This may help smooth airflow as it allows some air through and prevent turbulence. As mentioned below, I mounted the screen attachment plates inside the headlamp fork mounts. This makes for a clean look.
Fitment- The windscreen includes hardware for a variety of applications it seems, but mine was rather simple. I just needed the bracket plates attached to the screen and loosen the headlight clamps and slip over the bolt. The screen seems to allow for quite a bit of adjustment, however there's a catch. When locked down, the screen and headlamp will move as a unit, so wind pressure against the screen will push back until it contacts the instrument cluster, but Puig includes 2 contact cushions to prevent chaffing. I installed the screen a variety of ways, bracket plates inside the headlamp mounts and outside, as well as a number engineered pieces to increase surface contact area. All resulted in the same movement. I opted to rest the screen against the installed cushions on my instrument cluster and place the plates against the headlamp which positions the plates inside the headlamp mounts since it hides the plates(my cycle is most black.
Given the price, it is difficult to fault this windscreen.
A thicker polycarbonate and more centrally located mounting system to reduce leverage at the attachment points between the stainless brackets and windscreen body would reduce its "universal" fit to fewer machines, and increase the price.
By reversing the brackets right for left, I was able to hide the tines and make use of the third hole to affix them directly into the headlamp bucket (see photos).
The result emulates a "factory" look--and with the 4-point mount a more secure installation.
Granted, per the increased rigidity there is a slight increase in mechanical stress at the above noted attachment points between the brackets and windscreen body.
Still, after more than 20,000 miles of riding through hot, cold, rain, snow, and sun (from sea level to 14,000+ ft), including high speed intervals (conditions permitting), the little Puig has more than earned its high score.
All said, the Puig replaced a more expensive, custom made windshield--and has provided equal, if not better wind protection.

I wanted something small, light, and inexpensive to block the wind off my chest at freeway speeds. The screen mostly does this, but the shape creates more turbulence than it needs to.
Mounting was relatively easy, once I figured out it was shipped with two right-hand brackets instead of a left and a right. One can mount the screen using two right-side brackets, but it is not quite right. Perhaps they are all like this - the parts list only shows one entry for "Bracket", without distinguishing between left and right sides.
Even with a price around USD $50, it should ship with the correct mounting hardware, and overall effectiveness could be better if it was a somewhat different shape. I'll keep it for summer use until something better comes along.
This was relatively easy to mount to my Suzuki TU250X, and the mount is pretty solid. I have had this on the bike for about 1,000 miles now and the wind (and me banging into it from time to time) has not knocked it out of adjustment. For some reason this Puig is cheap yet I have failed to figure out why. I am not sure what you get when you spend two or three times as much for something similar from another manufacturer, but this seems to work just fine. It works great, looks good, and was easy to install.
Item arrived very fast (ordered Saturday, delivered on a Sunday! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!). Instructions were in German, but was able to figure it out. Took a short hop around the block, haven't been up to highway speed yet but think It will help with the wind buffeting and most certainly deflecting some bugs and rocks.

To be honest, I can't really tell a difference with this on unless I really get in a low tuck. But let's be real, I didn't expect too much from it either. This isn't going to negate any buffeting at freeway speeds, it's not going to allow you to ride with your visor up & no eye protection, and it isn't going to protect you in the rain. But it will give you a little different look on your naked sport bike, and a little difference if you tuck and roll on the throttle.
FYI I had to modify mine slightly because I don't use the stock riser handlebars on my Suzuki Bandit - I put sport bike clip-ons on - so the clutch & brake cables and brake fluid resevoir interfered with the placement of the screen. Not the fault of the windscreen and not the reason for 4 stars - just be aware if thinking about buying this that the the lower side flares curve quite far back (I think a lot more than I expected just from looking at pictures).
I did not expect the quality to be so good for the price. It is an excellent screen and really suits the bike (T100). I am 6ft and at 70mph the wind does hit my helmet and becomes quite noisy. Anyone at 5'9 and below will love this as an all round screen. At lower speeds it keeps me much warmer, keeping the wind of my torso. I am going to order a higher screen of the same brand for my T100 and use this screen for my Royal Enfield it will be perfect for those country roads when tootling at 50mph. As for fitting; if 8" headlight piece of cake; just slacken the bolts slide in the screen and tighten. If not it comes with spacers and longer bolts. Great.
Fitted mine to a chinese bullit 250 with very little problem. As my bike has a 7" headlight i had to use the supplied spacers and as the cut out is to fit an 8" light there is a gap of about 2" between the bottom of the screen and the light which dont appear to give me any problems.It does reduce the buffering on the bike and deflect some of the rain so overall i am happy with it , if possible though i would try and obtain a model the size of your headlight but with Chinese bikes you are limited with choices, Also has a cool look about it.
What a great bargain this is, didn’t require the supplied hardware of nuts and bolts, fitted straight on to my two existing bolts of the Bonneville T120 headlamp. About £50 cheaper than the dedicated Puig screen for the Bonnie and is basically the same and looks great.
This is both excellent quality and great value for money. All the (comprehensive) fitting supplied are of high quality and the screen is finished to a good degree.
Fitted it to my Triumph Bonneville T120 in minutes and it looks just as good as the other screens available - but at a fraction of the cost.
Definitely recommend this product!
