This made a huge difference. I am 6'1" and my bike was unbearable at highway speeds with the stock shield, even with the windshield raised to it's highest position. Now the air is smooth enough that I can listen to music with my Bluetooth helmet and I don't suffer from noise fatigue anymore. Very satisfied.
Quality product, easy to put on and makes for a quieter ride behind the larger wind screen. I took a 100 mile ride the day after I put on the new wind screen and was really suprised at how less tired I was not having to fight the wind. Looking through the larger screen did take some getting use to.
I only need to extend this windshield an inch or so to match the wind to helmet coverage of the stock windshield. Fully extended it provides far superior protection to the stock windshield. It's big and not as sleek looking as stock, but form follows function and it is a welcome improvement for touring.
Larger than original. I love it. Creates a better "bubble" without negatively affecting handling.
I purchased this a month ago for my 2004 Yamaha FJR1300. I just got back from a 2300+ mile trip across California, Nevada, Utah and Colorado (plus a bit in NM) where I saw the whole gambit of weather; hot (97F), cold (25F), dry, wet (like downpouring rain!). Overall, I am very please with the performance of this windscreen. I have the electric windscreen adjustment on my FJR and with the screen all the way up, I stayed pretty well protected in all weather. I am a tall rider; 6.0" and have a long torso. The quality of this product is very good.

Very easy to install and works well.
I've had my FJR for eight years now and this is the fourth shield that i have tried. It's my favorite. Less buffeting and I kinda like the V cut in the middle. Won't be the same for everyone though since I'm only 5'7 so taller riders might find different results.
Replaced a 20" shield with laminar lip with this 20" VStream. The overhead protection is nearly the same, although I do feel the wind slightly more on the side. No enough to complain, just an observation. In clean air this shield works very very well. Although the protection is slightly less than my previous set up, the VStream looks better, has cleaner lines, and is much easier to keep clean. I wish I had made the change years ago. 2005 FJR1300, 6' tall, 25 deg F , 45 minute highway commute and it's all good.
