Ordered this visor in the blue as listed and shown...and looked at others reviews and pictures. The color advertised and off the pictures in reviews shows a blue visor. The color i recieved that was labeled blue is purple. I can't post pictures for some reason as there isn't a option to do so. My x14 has blue on it and now its got a purple visor. I also have a AGV PISTA RR Carbon Fiber helmet and I purchased a blue visor and its unmistakably blue. When I put the 2 helmets side by side theres no denying which is blue. Not very happy and I hope this company contacts me so that I can show them in pictures what a blue visor is supposed to look like.
This is 1/2 cost of the Shoei shield. It fits great and optical quality and clarity are good. However, the coating is sub-par in that when it's inundated with bugs and you carefully clean it, a weird shadow of the bug splat remains. Kind of burned into the coating. Ruins the whole thing. Not recommended!
Perfect fit, great look and addition to my helmet
Just got this tonight and even after reading reviews of aftermarket visors not fitting the shoei X14. This brand in particular fit just as good as the OEM visors and has the same rigid quality. Would absolutely recommend this item to anyone wanting a different color than what OEM shoei visors offer.
It came with a light scratch and smear on the lens but seems okay. I have to return because I was shipped the mercury/chrome finish. I ordered the iridium finish we will see how the next one will be.
