I ride my motorcycle to work and back everyday in Florida where it also rains everyday. I ride about 20 miles each way. Since getting these covers, my feet have never been wet! The best part is that I can put them on over any shoes that I happen to be wearing thus alleviating the need to carry an extra set of rain boots. I have been very happy with this product. The only negative thing I can say about them is that the toes are cloth and go over your whole front third of the shoe, the back two-thirds, from your arch to your heel are exposed on the bottom. Because of this, when you stop and put your feet down, you want to make sure to use your heels and not your toes because the cloth gets slippery when wet, but at least the bottoms of your shoes in the heel area are there to grip the road. All in all, I'm VERY happy with these covers. When mine wear out, I'll buy more!
This design is a bit of a disaster also when riding because the elastic can catch under a foot peg and prevent you putting a foot down. This happened to me at a stop light and I ended up with a tip-over. Also do not try walking in these rain covers because the elastic across the bottom will fray very quickly.
received them a week or so ago. I have yet to use them on a rainy day. I would not normally put a 5 star rating on any product I have not used but I can already tell that these will perform perfectly. The material matches my rain suit I currently use. I have no doubt that I will be completely dry next time I have to ride in the rain. Last time I was dry except for my feet.
Since these covers don't have a complete sole, I was skeptical about their ability to keep my boots dry. I bought them to replace a set of Totes that were nearly impossible to put on over my boots. I've been caught in two heavy thunderstorms since purchasing these covers, and they are certainly easy to put on while "suiting up" on the side of the road. And in spite of the forward controls and tiny front fender on my Honda VTX1300C, my boots emerged dry each time I reached my destination. These are a great addition to the rain gear in my saddlebag, and I will definitely purchase again if my current pair ever need to be replaced.
Will not stay up at all. They do go on pretty easy and keeps the boots dry, BUT you cannot walk without them sliding down my leg. This to me makes them useless. I tried putting them on next to the bike, but in a down pour I got too wet.

Used these right away in the rain, and they did a good job of keeping my shoes dry. I don't really like the material that is underneath the toe area. It can be just a bit slick, but not horrible. I did not have any issues, but I did notice it. Maybe it gets better with wearing it, but I have only used them one time so far. They do roll up small, so storing them in the saddle bags is a breeze. Great to have if you need them.
Great rain covers. I got caught in a freaking monsoon in the Ozarks last week, 4 inches of rain fell. I was the only one in the group that had rain covers and guess what...I was the only one with dry boots!
Keeps my feet dry and still holding up. There is an opening for the heal. The part I worry about, is the part on the sole. When you put your feet down, as you stop, it can be very easy to lose your footing. It slides on the fabric. For this reason, I would consider this unsafe.
