I just got this helmet on 10-11-2027 on 10-13-2017 (Friday the 13th) I went down on the 57 freeway in Sothern California during Morning rush hour traffic on my way into work. I have to say without a doubt this helmet saved my life. After I bounced off the first car I got knocked out and woke up to the EMTs cutting everything off of me. I just upgrad to the Biltwell Lane Spliter from a skull cap. I just want to personally say thank you to the guys at Biltwell for My Life and for allowing my six year old Son to keep his Father in his life. Great Helmet! I've used it almost every day for the last two months and had no issues with it. It seems to be - Built Well - hahaha...ha... But seriously, good product. I actually bought this because I wanted to look like the Stig riding my Honda Ruckus to work every day. Unfortunately, it turns out no one sells all white water proof motorcycle gear for obvious reasons. I also purchased the rainbow mirror face shield for this helmet to complete the Stig look. I have to say, it looks AWESOME but the anti-fog feature does not really seem to work. It is getting into the rainier/colder months in Seattle and it has been necessary for me to buy a neck warmer to keep the cool air from the mouth vents from bothering me on my commute. With the neck warmer I have no issues with the helmet (aside form the fogging) in the cold or rain. I think I'll have to try one of the dual layer anti-fog inserts (similar to ski goggles) to really resolve the fogging issue. Overall considering price, comfort, and quality I am very satisfied!

Edit: 2yrs after purchase, still loving this helmet!
Solid helmet that the ladies love! Nice finish on the outside, comfortable liner inside, and the visor doesn’t fog easily, and is optically correct. Another solid product from biltwell.

If I had to nitpick, I only have two changes I’d like to see. Move the chin strap forward a bit so it is more under my chin and less against my neck. Secondly, make the mouth vent closeable for the cold mornings, and maybe add some brow vents that are also closeable for the warmer days.

Overall it is a solid design, and feels great. Don’t be tempted with the Chinese knock-offs, trust me, you will be disappointed.
Nice helmet, one complaint I have is the straps grab too close to my neck instead of under my jaw. Great for summer moves alot of air even though there's no forehead vent it's not too hot.
Not for me, fit well, but very cheaply made. I was not expecting Shoei quality for $250... but i was expecting a good seal... a visor that stays up. Everyone said it was tight mine was loose as hell on both the Large and the Medium. Would not buy again. I landed on the LS2 Breaker, and am much happier and 100 bucks richer.

Helmet looks great and fits well, gets the job done. Things I don't like for the $250 price is the front vent isn't adjustable so cold weather riding is tough unless you stuff a rag inside. Also the visor does not stay in the up position very well, slightest motion makes it fall down. Since the "anti fog" visor fogs when sitting still at around 55 degrees, I lift it at stop lights but usually keeps falling.
This helmet is just perfect! It’s light weight, provides a TON of ventilation and is about as stylish as it gets. The large visor is clear and provides very good vision to your peripherals. You get the look and safety of a Simpson helmet- at half the cost. I absolutely recommend this helmet for anyone who is in the market for one. Additionally, if you ride in cold weather, you will need to ride with a neck gator up over your nose and mouth to prevent your face from getting too cold.
Couldn't be happier with the helmet. I have what I'd consider a pretty average size head (7 1/4-3/8 hat size) and a "large" helmet fits me nice and snug. I could probably even wear an XL but I wouldn't want any movement in the helmet down the road when the pads break in more. All the materials used seem very high quality, and the finish is top notch. Let's hope I never find out how safe it is...
Arrived as stated, good service
