It broke within a year.. while sitting on my bike adjusting the settings for speedometer, I leaned a little too much to where my bike was falling and while lifting it up the handlebar broke at the weld..
Broke after a year I had them on! Snapped at the weld while I was riding home from work! Dont buy this product. Just a lawsuit waiting to happen.
This product is DANGEROUS. We were out on a day trip and they snapped. DO NOT BUY. ONLY A YEAR OLD.😡
I've had these for 9 months and after riding with them for less then 6 this happened on the highway and if you see in the picture how they've broken you can even see almost equal stress cracks almost 1" to the left, I think this is due to just poor metal quality which sucks because these have been super comfortable and have made for a really enjoyable ride, although the over all quality of these bars they aren't very heavy duty.
Put these on my wife's 2015 FLS softail slim. she loves them. they sit perfect for her and allow her to have a slight bend in her elbows. Had to buy extended throttle cables and brake line along with extending the wires that go through the bars. no problem running the wires just blow some string from one end to the lower hole , tie off to the wires and pull through slow and easy. very thick paint, had to sand the throttle side to get a smooth twist. other than that these bars look great and function well. The bars that I received look great. They are drilled for hidden wires with a decent size oval on both bars and the bottom of the center.they are very comfortable. I barely had to remove any material from the throttle side. Overall great bars, but if you are looking at this item because it is prime, it took eight days to receive mine. Ordered on a Sunday got them on not the following Monday but a week after. I obviously didn't expect them to be here the next day but eight days for a so called prime item is absurd.
Love these. They are sturdy and well made. I had to grind off the powdered coating around the throttle grip portion to get my throttle to not stick. It still sticks a little but not enough to keep me from using them. I like to think of it as a built in cruise control now.
Handle bar is bent on right side
