I purchased 3 Sena items from Amazon. All three didn’t work properly and needed to be exchanged.
The first purchase was for a Sena PT10-10 Multi Prism Tube WiFi Action Camera. Wouldn’t connect using BT even after all updates. Returned to Amazon and replaced with a Sena 10C EVO and Sena SC-4B-01 Rc4 Remote. The remote wouldn’t power on out of the box. Returned to Amazon for exchange. The 10C EVO would stop recording after 5 minutes. Working with Sena tech support for ten days because they would send one email once per day. Did a firmware update, used three different SDUX cards (formatted with the 10C) and still wouldn’t record for more then 5 min. When connected to power on the desk it would record fine. Sena recommended I contact Amazon for exchange, but after the 30 days Amazon doesn’t accept returns for this item. Sena tech support said they would send me a replacement after they received notice that mine had been returned; however, they didn’t provide a shipping address, RMA, nor a return label (as their device is defective I shouldn’t have to cover the cost for a return). I have sent a request for these every day for the past three days and I have not heard anything back from Sena.
I ordered the product a couple weeks ago, and initially wrote a scathing review, as the original product was completely defective. The camera was either shattered or internally damaged, so I had to send it back in for a replacement.
However, I've been using the replaced version of the product and I'm extremely impressed. The integration of both audio, video, music, etc, is awesome, and the various mounts that are provided by Sena make it relatively easy to fit to any helmet. Wiring the speakers to each ear well can be a pain (my helmet made it an extensive process), but the quality of the audio and the main unit's ease of use it great. The battery isn't wonderful, and the Sena camera app is pretty finicky but overall, this is a great solution for a motorcycle cam. Would definitely recommend.
This is the best Sena communications system yet. The resolution is on par with GoPro, however its stabilization needs a little more work but is better than the previous model. The cell phone camera interface instructions and App leave a lot to be desired. It is one thing to point you to the “Play Store” to down load a specific App and another one to direct you to the play store and simply leave it up to chance you are downloading the correct App. Making and receiving phone calls is seamless once pared with the Sena.
The audio is terrible! I've had mine for less than 4 months and the speakers sound distorted, lots of static, interference as if they are blown. Never been able to turn them up because they have never really sounded very good. Now the new problem is the left speaker goes in and out, half my ride I can only hear out of the right speaker the other half just a bunch of popping and static! The camera records beautiful videos... When it feels like recording, I will turn it on press the button to start recording, the voice will say video recording, then 10 or 15 times "recording stopped", "recording", "recording stopped", you get the point and later that day I'll go to see anything it might have recorded just to be surprised that there is nothing on the memory card. After 6 hard resets, buying multiple different memory cards "because that's what Sena said the problem was" and changing every setting this thing is a huge piece of trash. Last thing, I might have been able to deal with the terrible audio, the lack of actual recorded videos, and the terrible battery life but, the stupid sound the dial makes when you click it drives me literally insane. Every time you lean, lift your shoulders, look to the left when lane changing or turning, just a small gust of wind makes the damn thing beep. It has to beep 60+ times per ride! If I could've given this product a zero or negative number I would have, seriously If your considering this bluetooth, DON'T! IT'S TERRIBLE!
I had two generations before of this camera and when needing a second one thought I would just upgrade to this one, and while the 4K is a nice touch it's really no better than the generation before it. Still uses a micro C for recharging. While it's the only game in town for a Bluetooth camera combo and works if you need to take pictures of something that was unexpected, it's definitely no replacement for a good action camera. Could definitely use image stabilization!

Description
I love how clear this one records. I don’t like that the charging port is on top of the device instead of on the bottom. I won’t be wearing ‘it’s in the rain.
