This is a pretty good shield. 4 stars because the seller shipped it quickly, packed it well, it looks good and seems to perform just fine for the most part. It it worth it? I'd say yes, but you need to understand what you're getting for the money you're saving over an OEM, which is pretty significant. The mirror is a little lighter than I thought it would be but it's not bad and I don't think one can see into the helmet very well from the outside (rider view out of the helmet is great). It's definitely thinner than an OEM face shield, but that's not too big of a deal because it seems to seal just fine on my Neotec helmet. The detents don't seem to hold very well, so you can't ride with the face shield in the raised position. I can crack it open just fine, but once you get it more than about 1/3 open or so, it may not hold. I ride a touring bike with a Klock Werks windshield so I get a little air, but nothing like on a sportbike or a bike with no wind protection.
It fits the GT-Air, but does not have the pinlock anti-fog attachment capability. It also does not snap to helmet as I have shown in the picture. The 2 stars are for the Iridium shade that Shoei won't design because of the drop down viser.
The dark color is good but the visor itself has some streaks in it. They are not visible while wearing the helmet but make it look low-quality from the outside. Also there is no locking clip at the bottom like on oem shoei visors, this means you can't get a tight seal or have it cracked open a little, it is always closed but leaks wind/noise.
Unlike the other reviewer, this shield fits my helmet fine. Seals the way it should. Seems to be working fine for me
Fits my Shoei GT-Air perfectly & I love the coloring of this helmet! It’s beautiful & I get tons of compliments. Easy to install and switch out for a nightime visor if necessary. I’m able to wear my prescr glasses w this visor but it’s too dark at night for me. Also able to ride with it popped open a smidge for a breeze when necc in our Fl heat as seen in one photo and closes completely as shown in another photo. It does have pinlock access. Highly recommend.

Optical quality is not on par with stock. Detents are much stiffer than stock and don’t appear to be at same spots. Shield does not close without slamming it down unlike stock shield. Seems more flimsy than stock shield as well.
I love this face shield and it is great for my helmet. It is a bit dark so you need to carry a clear shield if you are going to drive at night because this will make potholes and other debris really difficult to see at night.
Works awesome. It's a little thinner than the stock shield and it doesn't use the pin lock . With the this shield dawn and the inner lens there is no eye strain on a bright sunny day. Overall I'm super happy with this product

Good alternative for a smoked visor. Shoei did not make a smoked outside shield
