I ordered the black with anticipations of a gradual color change. From the inside there is no significant change in color at the bottom. Also anyone interested in this product should be aware there is a extreme reflection of the dashboard on the inside tinted part.
Gave the product four stars only because the film had a couple kinks in it right out of the box. After watching a couple how to videos and purchasing a $12 film application tool set (the job would have never turned out as well without it), I have a very presentable first attempt at applying window tint as a sunscreen / Banner on the windshield of my Jeep for a total investment of less than $30 and an investment of 2 hrs of my time, not to mention the tools and experience to do it to my other vehicles or if need arises to replace this job.
First, this ships from China, so expect close to a month for delivery. The film itself seems okay with respect to quality and its adhesive. But, the film is not graduated at all - it looks like an 80% light block. And the outside looks mirror-like, not at all what I wanted. I ordered black and expected the exterior to look dark gray, not silver. Finally, there were no instructions. There are several good YouTube videos about installation that can be quite helpful. If this were any other purchase I would send it back. But since you have to cut it to install it in order to find out what it looks like, I'm stuck.
Not easy to install inside. Outsides probably ok, but inside is to difficult because material is so thin and easily twists and sticks to itself. Recommend a pro if u need it inside... it also has no instructions, bad move!
Product is not optically clear. When installed, street and stop lights are foggy and produce double images.
Very distracting and headache inducing.
Also... inside is silver so it appears that you have mirror attached to the windshield.
I ripped it off after 5 days and returned.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1.Measure the size of the car glass, the length and width of each one plus more than 3 cm, so as not to install the film does not conform to size.
Step 2.A clean window is vital a successful factor,so keep window or glass clean.
Step 3. Remove (Tear off) the transparent backing sheet from Film .Cover the surface of the whole film with water.This helps to prevent the film becoming tangled and sticking to itself.
Step 4. Pick your film up and apply to your window( Please MAKE SURE you have removed the backing sheet before you apply to the window and glass).
Soap and water on film and glass can make it slide to the correct position.
Step 5. And repeat scraper process,using the scraper to push any remaining moisture or bubbles to the edge of the window.Much easier than Wall Decals.
Step 6. Finally use the paper towels to dry the window and the frame,being carefully not to lift the film at the edges or corners.

Horrible if you are not a professional tinter!
I wasted half the roll trying to first peel the backing and then trying to apply. Sticks to itself way to easily and when that happens, it rips way too easily. If you or anyone you know is not a professional then stay away!!!
Loved this on my jeep windshield..its chrome on the inside which is kinda neat..but other side made my purple decal stick out..very cool
Used spray bottle w dish detergent and water to put it on then used squeegee
Good product. However, it's not black!! This item is Silver. Also, it is NOT vinyl. It's film!!
I've tried to seperate the adhesive protective film for 30min. I don't think it actually has it, or an adhesive side. Should of READ more reviews.
