I purchased these for my daughter's birthday (to go with her Biltwell Gringo helmet I got her). I normally love Biltwell. I have their grips on all of my bikes and have their Bonanza helmet and a couple of their Gringo helmets as well. These gloves do not have the contrast stitching as in the profuct description and photos, or the textured anvils for grip and touchscreen. These aren't any better than some $4.99 gloves you can pick up at Harbor Freight. The material is like a thin neoprene. My daughter's birthday is next week and I'm going out of town so I don't have time to mess with a return. Maybe she can use them for some of her light-duty gardening if they can hold up to it. Save your money. You can get a much better pair of Mechanix gloves for a better price. Lesson learned
If you are looking for a mechanic style glove these are great. They are thin and comfy, with little lost in the feeling department which is good for tools and riding. They are not warm, so summer riding only. Not much in the way of fall protection, but they'll keep an errant bug from bruising your knuckle on the highway. If you're looking for serious crash protection, look elsewhere. If you're looking for stylish, lightweight gloves for a summer ride, or a day in the garage, these are perfect.
I really like these gloves. They are super comfortable, work great with my phone's touch screen. Unfortunately they do not hold up to the amount of riding I do. Bought these September 30th and unfortunately they have already worn through on my left index finger. Looks like I'll be searching for a more durable pair of gloves.
Pretty nice gloves for the value. If you want light, skinny gloves for summer riding, look no further! Unfortunately as anything with biltwell company none of their products fit right, so the size you might normally get will actually be either a little loose or tight. Anyways, quality is pretty good tho. Sturdy feel, yet light, stitching and material itself is nice and durable, palm material is grippy and you can operate your cellphone with the gloves finger tips. They will not protect your fingers or knuckles however, so think twice if you want to bash someones mirror out next time a cage operator decides to merge into your lane without checking.
More lightweight than I expected. I expected them to feel like a pair of Mechanix. But they're probably half the weight and much more flexible and breathe better.
Not sure how much they'd help with road rash, but very comfortable. Hardly feels like you're wearing a glove. They leave you with enough dexterity that you can still reach into your pockets and feel what you're grabbing, or strap the D rings on your helmet. The little anvils on the fingertips do a pretty good job with touch screen connectivity as well.

Description

Size:X-Large | Color:Brown/Orange

Biltwell Moto Gloves are designed for riding and working on motorcycles-no carbon fiber, no fringe and no compromises. Synthetic leather palms provide traction while ventilated backs breathe to keep hands cool and dry. Contrast stitching on the all-black silhouette gives these simple yet comfortable gloves a clean, purposeful look. Available in Small through XL sizes.

These APPEAR to be nice gloves, so I'm giving them 4 stars... Reason being is that they did not fit me. Apparently, I have longer than average thumbs, so these looked pretty stupid on me. Finger length was spot on, but because the thumbs were short on me, the webbing between the index and thumb was too little and didn't allow me to open my hand at full range. If you have the same issue as me, stick to Mechanix gloves. They're pretty similar and don't give the the "thumb" issue. So far, after trying 7 different brands of gloves, that's what I'm sticking to.
The gloves keep my hands much cooler than a typical motorcycle glove. The air passes through the material very readily. That said, don't expect much protection in a crash. They might save you from some slight roadrash.

Took a few days to break them in (to conform more to my hand...they have a bit of a flatness to them, but they'll stretch.

They are built fairly well. Not perfect, but they should hold up more than one season.
Comfortable, breathable gloves. Unfortunately they seem to unsew or start fraying quite easily. Only wore them 4 or 5 times before part of the left index finger started fraying. The velcro is strong but also catches the gloves when you try to take them off which may contribute to the fraying.
