Installed these along with the half-dish one and together they make all the difference in the world. I have an '09 Road King with a KW Windscreen. The wind that flows between the gas tank and the windshield gave me windburn last year on my week-long trip. I have taken it out on the freeway after installing these and I can actually talk without yelling over 80 and still be heard by my passenger. I used to have to put my left arm across my chest in order to get relief from the updraft, now there is no difference even at high speeds. I am not a huge fan of fairings, but was considering one, now I can keep my Road King and still have wind relief!
This does exactly as advertised and works great. No more wind in the ears from around the tank coming up. However, the wind that comes over the windshield that just gets over my head is now buffeting the passengers head now. I have to buy a taller windshield now. The one I have on the bike is about 2" too short for me to begin with, and that is about how much wind is hitting her helmet. Long story short. If your windshield is the proper height, and she's not your height or taller, you should be fine.
Modified to work on 2017 ultra, trimmed off about 3 in from top! Part was not strong enough highway speeds!
Very large, very effective. 10 minute install on my 2011 Road King. I installed this in combination with the "dog dish" deflector. 99% of wind buffeting gone. The motor does run warmer in 85+ degree temps.
I was reluctant to buy these, thinking they would be just another ineffective piece of junk. Boy, was I wrong! They totally eliminate the buffeting caused by the updraft on my Road King. Easy to install, they even fit with a slight adjustment to the lower fairings I had installed...should have bought these sooner.

I put these on a Road King with a Reckless fairing so it looks like a Street Glide. These did little to reduce the air that came up the sides of the bike and hit my face and chest. I need to tuck in my shirt or it comes up and hits me in the face on the highway. I guess I'll have to try something else.
These things are amazing! Heavy metal with beautiful chrome. They make all the difference in the world controlling the wind that used to come up from the bottom of my windshield. Just completed an Iron Butt and can't imagine how much more tired I would have been without these helping to control the airflow. Don't hesitate... just get them!!
These exceeded my expectations! I was impressed with how easy they were to install. Just remove the nuts, slip on and re-tighten and begin to enjoy wind deflection as advertised.
