This is Bell's mid level helmet that usually lists for $200+ and is one of the least expensive helmets I've seen with a DOT and Snell rating. In some of the colorways you can find it for even less so it's an absolute bargain. The Hart-Luck Gloss/Matte Charcoal/White/Red Skull one I ordered was $139 delivered. The skull graphics and pin-striping are a bit "Righteous bruh!" for my taste but they are fairly subdued and on the back of the helmet so it was worth the $70 dollar savings. The very pedestrian white and grey colorway was also available at this price. The exterior finish is nice and unlike most matte finishes it doesn't seem to show fingerprints too much.

This helmet runs big. I have a 61.75 cm head which puts me well in to the XL size according to Bell's sizing chart for this helmet but I found the XL to be a bit too roomy and stepping up to the XL puts you in the largest of the three shell sizes, and the XL shell is a *really* big helmet. The Large helmet fits me well, a tiny bit on the snug side but there are no hot spots and I believe it will "give" a little after a few dozen hours on my head. (I'm right in between sizes but I prefer the large especially after seeing how big the XL shell was)

Its a very quiet helmet, with excellent vents. You can feel the airflow past the faceshield and over the top of your head even at low speed, which keeps the shield clear and keeps you comfortable. The faceshield itself is very nice, distortion free and has an extra wide field of view. Looking forward I cannot see the sides of the helmet which makes for a nice "open" feeling. Downside, it only really has two positions: locked down and fully up. I like to crack my shield one notch riding around town and that really isn't possible with this shield. However it operates smoothly, the center tab is easy to maneuver with either hand, and it has a bit of an "open assist" where once you start to flip it up it continues all the way to the upward locked position. Unlike other visors I've used it does positively lock in the down position with a fairly loud "clunk" Mine came with the clear shield only, I've read of some of these shipping with clear and smoke.

Inside the helmet everything is well made and nicely finished. I've found that cheap helmets really show on the inside, and the Bell feels like quality all the way through. The entire lining is removable and washable, (it can be fiddly getting the crown pads back into place. The cheek pieces are interchangeable and you can order any size from XS-XXL from Bell to help customize your fit. (I may order a smaller size cheek pad to give my beard a bit more room) There are cutouts in the foam by the ears to accommodate an in-helmet speaker system. Standard double D Ring chin strap with a button tab to lock down the end. (I'm not used to this from older helmets and it is necessary to keep the end of the strap from whipping about while riding.)

I really have nothing but good things to say about this helmet, other than the sizing chart is a bit off, at least on the upper end, and I do wish the visor had an "around town" notch. But even with that caveat I'd buy another one tomorrow. Good lid.
I love and always wear Bell Helmets. This Isle of Man helmet will be my winter helmet (it's not modular, so summer time is too hot to wear). My only issue is it is a very snug tight fit. Much tighter than on my Revolver modular helmets. Just note: the modular Revolver helmets are perhaps the best helmets I've owned. Fit is comfortable and perfect. Try one if you can find them in your size. I recommend the Isle of Man helmet, but search to find the best price as pricing can vary greatly. Sometimes you can find helmets on clearance for half price.
Excellent for in town, as well as Highway/Interstare travel. Light and comfortable. Good venting. I've had this for a few weeks, and have worn it for hundreds of miles now... riding in various temperatures and conditions. Great all around... rain, heat, speeding, idling, night, day, short trips, heavy traffic, long rides. Excellent visibility. Chris Wood at Airtrix, and Carey Hart collaboration on the graphics is really nice. Rear sticker reads " DOT | FMVSS NO. 218 CERTIFIED | SNELL APPROVED".
I had to return this helmet because it was defective. I bought another because I really liked it and it was a good price for what you got. The second one fell apart after 2 days of riding. Instead of returning it, I would go the warranty route because they come with a 2-year warranty I was told. So far it's been over a month I get one email per week they tell me what I want to hear, but do nothing. Today they told me I had to send the helmet in so they could inspect it... just so I can get a new cheek pad that's defective. Seems like it would cost them more in shipping the helmet back to me than it would to just go ahead and send me one cheek pad. They are being very difficult and have very bad reviews on the better business bureau see for yourself. This is very unfortunate as they also are owned by a larger company who also owns giro bicycle helmets. If you do decide to buy a product from Bell, good luck!
This is a wonderful helmet i get Medium and is kind of snug, so i returned with no problems i get my refund real quick and i am gonna get Large this time.

Loved it, the helmet fit great, everything about the Bell SRT street helmet was great, I did have to order a size smaller than I wear, I wear a large in every other helmet, but a medium fit me perfect, thanks again.ths helmet has no wind noise and works great.
I'm returning this helmet. I'm a size large in nearly all helmets. I tried this on & had a headache for an hour afterwards... It was tight! The shell is really big as well. I guess you don't get a Snell rating with a low profile helmet. Other than that it's very cool looking helmet in my opinion. But knowing how big the shell is for the large, I'm not going to try the XL. What a shame, I really wanted this helmet to work out. Oh and it not packed well at all. It was just the cardboard box with the helmet inside. No extra cushion... See attached pictures
Over all good helmet. I'm very pleased. A couple things to mention is the could be a little better in my opinion, but not bad. This helmet fits a little tighter that what it measures. when I first wore this it was tight on the upper sides of my head but broke in after a little while. it came with the 35mm cheek pads, those were to tight. I replaced them with the 30mm cheek pads, less than $30. Over all good fit, quallity, and road noise not bad.
