No more yelling during bike rides! Use them for talking to each other or CB intercom or music. The cord is long enough to hook up without it pulling on your head or from the bike. The mouth microphone is very flexible and can be placed conveniently. The padded ear piece is, for the most part nice, but we did find out that they fit best without helmets OR with helmets that have extra space above the ears. They stay in place very well, although you must adjust for the correct fit over your ears otherwise the hard plastic underneath the foam will begin to bother you after a few hours, but then again, when you ride bike you normally take a break within a few hours. Ladies, if your ears get cold or you don't like wind noise blasting in your ears (on the bike) all you will need is this headset. When you have the headset on you can still hear outside noises and voices perfectly fine. They are lightweight and durable.
Installed into a new full face helmet. Plugged it into the como port of my Harley tri glide and it works perfect.
Now we will see about longevity.
Longevity was not long ! Developed intermittent shorts on my first run. Fm radio would cut out and later come back on. I had also installed a metal flag pole about 3 inches from the radio antenna. Worrying about signal interference I did a run using the fm radio on the bikes built in speakers. No problems. I then carefully taped all the connections. That didn't help the sporadic sound loss.
I really wanted these to work. Gave them a fair chance.
Sadly I will be returning them. Adjusting my rating to one star.
Must have just gotten a lemon. I ordered two of this companies 1/2 helmet style. Both of them have worked perfectly.
I'm changing my rating from one star too 4 stars. No reason to beat them up over one of three having issues. Just remember, the full face version has 4 very small wiring connectors. All potential problems.
As my wife and I clock a lot of miles on my 2010 HD Electra Glide, we were going to get some intercom headsets one way or another. It fits right into the OEM intercom plug and works will all the HD VOX, volume, and toggle features. On our first ride using them, the speakers were good, microphone was clear, and it took 60+ MPH before the wind really started making enough static through the microphones to make it somewhat hard to understand each other. Here's where that big BUT comes in, they are NOT comfortable for long duration use. The head set is non adjustable, the plastic does not flex or give and after a hour or so of wearing them, I had half the mind to pull over and take them off from the pressure points they have against the ear. I intend to alter them some how to make them more pleasant for touring rides but they still a good buy compared to HD's expensive OEM headsets.
These are garbage! Do not buy these! I bought 2-sets, one for my wife and one for myself. I never got to use mine as the are piece broke as I was putting on my half helmet. I had to purchase a Harley David headset, which works great.
My wife used hers, her right ear piece quit working halfway through our ride. I also purchased her a Harley Davidson headset! Money lost as Amazon will not take them back. Never purchase these. Buyer beware! Because I didn’t use these within 30 days, Amazon will take them back see beware of Amazon too!!! Do but anything from them if you not going to be able to use it right away! Be cautious.
We have a 2016 Ultra and these work perfectly! Wife and I wore them with no helmets last weekend on a 175 mile ride. Used bandanna headbands to help hold them in place and never had a problem. Talked to each other, used voice commands to operate infotainment system and even made a voice command phone call at 60 mph just to check it out. Recipient send sound was clear as a bell. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Awesome headset. I used this as a replacement for the Harley headset that comes with the bike. I wear it with a modular helmet with which makes the microphone great because its easy to be stored behind my helmets adding and route to the front of the helmet. It's nice because all the wires come apart so you can arrange in your helmet so they are out of the way and them connect up. The connector on this unit is 100% nicer than the factory HD one. It's waterproof and is very solid. You don't have to worry about it coming lose or having to fiddle with it while riding.
Took the headset out for the first time today for about an hour. Headset was comfortable the entire time under a Bell Pit Boss Black Ops Helmet. I rode my H-D CVO Limited so there was engine and wind noise. Music was crystal clear. Made a test phone call to check sound and mic quality; I could hear the one I called very clearly and I was told the sound coming to them was "like I was in the same room." Excellent product so far!
Update: left ear cut out completely. Internal failure after a couple years. Not happy.
Lots to say about this product. The microphone picks up to much background noise, which if you are using the VOX feature it becomes irritating. The headphones I'd rate a 6 out of 10, they are not very loud. If you are traveling anything over 60 mph don't bother on answering a phone call or using the communication feature. When I use the PTT button on my bike I can relay some information if you yell a bit. Installation was simple and requires no knowledge straight forward. The construction seemed average for a headset, nothing wowed me. I wish I would have spent the extra money and got the Harely brand as they sound much better. However for the price they are not to bad and it is convenient especially when giving my bike commands.
I love IMC but this 7 pin didn’t work with my 2010 Voyager. Apparently IMC has no cord for the Kawasaki Voyager from what I found out at Americade this year. But supposedly it’s the same set up as the Can-Am Spyder and Yamaha from what J& M says. I love IMC on my old Wing but they must remember. Theirs more bikes out their than Harley and Honda.
Cheers
Advertised as a 7 pin and was an 8 pin, didn’t fit my bike.
