The silver looks great and fits the AT950 helmet perfectly with no gaps. I've been using just the original clear shield since I got the helmet last year and decided the helmet was good enough to invest in replacement shields. So I really like the mirrored look on my helmet. I prefer to have a smokey grey lens, but the other lens for the face shield just looked too dark to me. I ride sometimes at night and do not need the tint of the face shield compounding too much with the tint of my transitional lenses for my glasses. My only complaint is that the mirror finish scratches off easily. My clear face shield that suffered from just as many rides doesn't have anywhere near the visible scratches that the mirror shield has over the same amount of time.
This instantly makes my AT-950 look a lot better. Only concern was night time riding visibility. If you're riding in the city its not bad at all. It's only a bit restrictive when riding around areas that are absolutely pitch black like rural roads or the woods. For it being tinted and the look being what I primarily wanted - it works great without having to swap shields. I really only didn't give it a perfect 5 stars for two little details. Maybe I'm just nitpicking -- the first complaint just makes the second one harder to excuse I suppose. Well first off it's pricey. Yeah not chump change to me for essentially a piece of tinted clear plastic. I had noticed this shield months ago before I bought it. Took me a while to convince myself to fork over the cash. Not having unlimited funds does that. The second thing you'll notice is that for some reason they decided to mold a model name/number and warning right into the front of the shield. It's not huge but I dont understand why it's there if the original clear shield is sans stupid stamped letters. Well there it is, get it if you really want to give your AT-950 a face lift. Next helmet you purchase, check out the prices on replacement shields. I know I will but because I do love my AT-950 I might just write Scorpion an angry email, get no reply and still continue to buy their products.
Update: Love this helmet and visor. I have a perfectly scratch-free clear visor mounted and one more as a spare. The gold tinted visor is what I want for all conditions. I am a little rough on my stuff and will be replacing mine before snowmobiling season. GET THIS SHIELD.
Great look. From inside of the helmet this visor looks to have a dark tint. I bought this visor for snowmobiling. We'll see.
Was kind of nervous of quality/visibility when I ordered but this thing is awesome, gives the helmet a way better look and not dark at all when you look out. Super easy to install it took like five minutes, do yourself a favor and get one.

As mention in other comments, this is not a dark tinted shield, but sort of a mirrored coating on the outside. As seen in the pic holding it up to the sun. No imperfection, clear view.

Got the visor, carefully unwrapped "Original" wrapping and put the lens up to a light. I could immediately tell there were multiple deep and superficial scratches all over. After looking at the Visor closer, I noticed (paint or lacquer) streaks and drip over-runs... I quickly returned the Visor and purchased one else where from a different site. Im almost certain these visors are refurbished. If so, it should probably say so in the Item description. If this visor originally came from Scorpion Factory, employee who put it together and QC employee both should not have a job...
The visor ks literally really great for aesthetics. However brutal insect impacts can and will destroy the lacquer on the visor leaving a dark spot that not only looks ugly but you'll be able to constantly see while riding.
Riding in the rain isn't advisable either as road gunk can also eat away at the yellow film and make ugly spots
Fit my helmet perfectly and it’s great quality. Doesn’t fog up on me and from the inside it’s not super dark. I have ridden late at night before with the tinted visor and could still see well. It’s dark enough for most days but occasionally need to use the drop down visor in addition
It a great replacement screen, merge pretty well with the helmet. The only thing it s not sealing as well as the original. The original no wind was getting thru. The replacement a little wind is getting thru. But it does the job.
