This does not have pin locks and it’s not a pin lock sheld... somehow I was under that impression.
Note to buyers. the photo shows a pinlock shield, but this is not one. I do not use a pinlock, so not an issue for me. Just a warning to other riders
I”be always loved my HJC helmet but never realized how easy it is to replace the face shield. Since the cost is very reasonable, I ordered two....one to install now, and a spare for later. It is extremely super easy to release the old shield and pop in the new one. The new one is beautifully clear......not enough experience to know how anti scratch it is yet. Great product, will buy again.
I have used this same shield on my helmet before and it worked fine. The new model has a little grip to raise and lower which is handy. My helmet is an HJC IS33-II. It installed fine but the shield hits the front of the helmet and it won't come down all the way. I tried to call customer service but got now response.
Good for me at about 1/2 the cost. This shield is identical to the one that came with my helmet except it does not have the little nubs inside to mount a secondary shield. Since I don't use one of those, this works great for me at 1/2 the cost.

As the title says, great for daytime riding. At night, it is a little dark, but not impossible to ride with. It's ok if you get caught past sundown, but I wouldn't recommend riding at dark with this as a habit.
This is for an HJC helmet and made by HJC, obviously, this fits great and works well.
When it's closed down, during the day, your face is not visible.
Excellent replacement visor. I should have bought 2 as I had my helmet fall off my motorcycle seat and scratch the new one. I WILL order one again! Fit perfectly and very clear!
Nicely made shield. Fits my Harley helmet like it was made for it. Perfect tint for my eyes and keeps harmful rays off my face. Easy to change on the helmet. Everyone should have one of these.
