Everyone talks about the fitment of this being an issue. I put about 150 miles on this today and can say it does not hurt. Yes, it will be a little tight when taking on and off but that is to be expected with having tech in your cheek pads. They will stretch over time and become more forgiving like most pads/helmets.
The speakers sound great. I can hear my music and calls clearly over my m4 exhaust. The people on the other end of the line say they can't hear any wind noise. My call took place around 40-50 mph with an HJC Is-17 with no chin skirt.
Bottom line. I would recommend this to someone who is looking for a cheap com device and HAS A HELMET THAT THE 10U FITS.
I bought this and loved it so much I immediately purchased another for my second helmet! It takes about 5 mins to install. Sound quality and battery life are excellent, and I use the intercom regularly without any issues. It’s not cheap but definitely worth the price, I couldn’t be more satisfied with my purchase!
The sena 10upad is pretty good, sleek and works really well in most cases. The only bad part is that it has horrible battery life! sometimes i only get 40 minutes of ride time before I have to recharge. However, this 40 minutes is spread across a few days (2-3) in 10 minute intervals. I have been able to get over 3-4 hours of continuous use. So there must be some sort of charge leak at rest (yes, I'm sure that I turn it off when I'm not using it).
Upgrading the firmware is a must, please reset your device once you upgrade as that improves the battery life slightly.
Other than that, the sound quality is great. The cheekpads do break-in after a few miles (even though they are quite tight to being with for a medium sized helmet)
All in all, it's a good buy as it integrates with the helmet really well! The bluetooth (to phone), sena and also the FM options and toggling between them is great and easy.
I have other Sena headsets that work perfectly. However I believe this one still needs some firmware work.It has issues not answering phone and after it tries it loses intercom connection with other riders almost all the time.

Bluetooth works as it should.
Makes my XL helmet fit a little tighter.
Looks great, can't even tell you have a Bluetooth headset.
But the speakers are horrible, and I mean horrible.
Even with them turned down they sound blown right out of the box. Not impressed at all. They sound so bad that I might even remove it and go back to using earbuds.

(Don’t lay it flat it will drain the battery)I returned one because I thought it was a defect because battery would not last more than hour. I bought another and the same problem. I charged again and tried laying on its side. Now I charge it once a week. Also I now hang it on the wall to prevent the battery from discharging. It’s a great fit and loud enough to hear when wearing ear plugs for hearing protection.
Outstanding! Got lucky thought my expensive helmet would just sit around when everyone else had Sena helmets. Then I found this very happy with my purchase
