First the picture is NOT what I got for my VStar 950, which is good if you look at the brackets in 'these products are often bought together'.
They work REALLY well!! Riding on the highway was annoying, riding fast was irritating. These made a world of difference. Before I got these, I thought I'd have to buy a different windshield or even a fairing.
The ones I got are slightly curved. I had to put them on with the 'cupped' part forward because they wouldn't fit flush on the mounting bracket with the concave side out (like the leading edge of an airplane wing).
Because I have crash bars, I don't have much adjustment options. I may cut a notch in them to let me turn them 'back' a bit.
FYI, the instructions come with the mounting brackets.
Used for 2014 Yamaha Vstar 950. Required some adjustments because with engine guards they sit too close where they hit against them. And they touch the blinkers which over time may cause some issues. The directions could have been a little better for a person who has not installed them before. Had to put a lil piece of rubber on deflector to keep blinker from tapping and rubbing on it. Even trying to adjust up or down or forward or backwards wouldn't help. Works best with no engine guards.
These fit perfectly, because I already had the Memphis Shades mounting brackets installed. I had moved the smaller deflectors over from my previous Vstar 1100, but they never really completely stopped the buffeting. When I mounted these, I was greatly pleased at how much less buffeting I experienced - almost nill. If you look closely at the photos, on the front view, I have the smaller one on the right, and the new one on the left. The new ones reach much further down, and up behind my Memphis Shades windshield. Definitely worth the money - buy them!
I put this on my 2007 Honda VTX1300R and although the fit wasn’t perfect as I may have to put some thin shims under the fork clamps, it was still pretty close.

The great part is that the altered airflow is a great improvement. I still get a little wind over the top of my Memphis Shade but the improvement overall is pretty substantial. Love them!

If I were rating the hardware to put them on with I’d have to say too expensive and the fit is not perfect.
Not as seen, so I've attached a photo of the shade and mounting kit. But overall, very happy and easy to set up. Looks good.

Fit is good and looks good. Really helps to stop the wind buffeting behind the big factory Yamaha windscreen. I did have to cut a notch out of them in order to turn lock to lock to clear the Showchrome Highway bar.
Even though these were labeled for a Yamaha they were recommended for and fit my 2011 Honda Interstate using the Memphis shades mounting kit. Those were Yamaha parts as well. Very happy with the purchase.
Worked like a charm, no more helmet rattling on my head preventing me from seeing the roads, or any other cars on them. The instructions were so, so. But with my son we figured it out. Would be nice if the hardware wasn't sold separate, but oh well.
Mounts easily and the clear are nearly invisible.
Really helps with wind buffeting the helmet.
These deflectors, along with the Memphis Shades Fats/Slim/Sportshield Lowers Hardware (MEM9898), fit perfectly on my 2014 Suzuki Boulevard C50T and were easy to install. Initial test results were excellent: noticeably less wind noise and less buffeting.
