i wanted to add several pictures of the helmet as usually if you look in the internet you dont see how is the helmet made so i add a lot to show that. the helmet was made in the same year i got it, 2020. the mechanism to open and close is pretty rigid and it holds once open or close. it has good interior and it is detachable. also it has all ready for a Bluetooth speaker system so i put my old sena and has a route for wires, speaker and mic. when you drive the helmet has a reasonable wind noisy but it is understandable for a modular helmet. i replaced this one from an expensive one i had and the price vs quality is great. the helmet arrived super fast and arrived 1 week earlier. the size chart is good but i went to the next size as it was very tight in my cheeks and the next size was a better fit for my head and face. i did order 2, an XL and XXL then i kept the XXL.
Overall, I really like the helmet, has great features for a decent price.
After using it for about 1000 miles, I noticed that the chin piece on the right side was not closing properly. I had to take off the visor, and the main structure of the chin piece. Under that, there is a flat plastic part that rotates, screwed into place with 3 small bolts. Two of these were completely out. I noticed that the thread was pretty deep and that there was not Loctite either. I added a little bit of Loctite and put it all back together.
I am a little disappointed about this, and I hope that this issue won't return with the addition of Loctite.
Overall it is a great value helmet but, if I were to buy a new one, I would sway away from this particular model, since it appears to be prone to this issue again.
Well built helmet and quality. I installed the Sena Bluetooth in it and sounds very good. Wind noise is ok but not too bad at speeds up to 80 mph. The weight is heavier than my other 2 helmets but the quality of this helmet is much better. The built in visor works as expected and the pin lock visor is good. If you installing the Sena Bluetooth follow the video on YouTube because the instructions is not good. This is my first Bluetooth helmet so nothing to compare it with. Compared to other helmets which is cheaper quality this one is much better. I would give it a 5 but it’s a little heavier than I thought it would be. It’s a really good Bluetooth ready helmet. I’m satisfied and enjoying the sound of music without earbuds in my ears.
Great product. Shipping and delivery were quick and nicely packaged. Combo chin and visor hinge + better ventilation and design overall than the older IS Max 2. Very comfortable and great features for the price.
Helmet was perfect but had to send back it was too big for my head.
