This windscreen is top notch! Excellent value for the money, much cheaper than Harley's options and worked very well.
I was pleasantly surprised how thick the material is, it's almost identical to thickness of stock Harley windscreen. That's very important, one other less expensive windscreen I purchased on Amazon was so thin I was worried about breaking the fairing when I tightened it. This mephis shades windscreen is extremely high quality and should not be compared to the cheap options on Amazon, it's worthy of comparison to the official Harley options.
It looks great on my Electra glide standard. Blocks the wind perfectly for me, I'm 5'10" sitting on a saddlemen road soda. Initially I felt the screen was too low, but after my seat broke in, the screen hiwght was perfect.
If you're on the fence about which height to get, I honestly feel there's no downside to purchasing the taller screen. The taller screen will give you lots of great protection. I'm happy I picked the 6", fits my setup (saddlemen seat, my height and body type) perfectly. I think the 6" looks cool, only the bottom half is tinted so the top of the screen pretty much disappears when you're checking out the bike.
Overall great purchase, excellent value, less expensive that Harley option, fits perfectly, very strong/sturdy and looks awesome! I highly recommend the windscreen.
Well, Wow! What a nice surprise as to how nice this windshield works. With the stock shorty my 2015 FLHXS Street Glide Special at 80 mph I felt a fatigue producing head buffeting and problems enjoying that great Boom Box. BUT NOW with the Memphis Shades 6.5 in. Spoiler Windscreen at 80 mph and even above there is no, YES NO - head buffeting! Gr8 fitting - easy 5 minute installation - can't say enough - gr8 riding- get out there and a Ride!
Got a '19 Street Glide and rode a few times with the stock windshield. Mostly did fine, unless I'm doing 70 + with my half shell. With this, any speed and any helmet (I'm 5'11" with a 32" inseam).
Love the smoke shading, easy to install and deflects the wind just enough to minimize getting beat up at higher speeds. Perfect replacement shield for Street Glide Special.
Buy it. It works wonders. Clarity is great. 8.5 inch is about the same height as my chin and greatly reduced the wind when compared to the 4 inch sticker.

V-460 Visor: The Hornet X2's all-new V-460 visor spent countless development hours in SHOEI's wind tunnel and on the road to perfect the proper balance between aerodynamics and traditional visor functionality. The innovative "wedge" shape along with strategically placed vent louvers allow wind to pass through unobstructed during high-speed riding, ultimately reducing lift and drag. Along with superior aerodynamic qualities, the V-460's shape was strategically designed to push air into the Hornet X2's upper air intake for optimal cooling, all the while maintaining its fundamental purpose of providing sunshade and roost protection during off-road riding. Great wind screen. But at about 90+ it creates some weird vibes in the handlebars. Normal riding its great. Bugs dont hit my face anymore
Works great on my street glide. Pushes air over me and my passenger. Definitely recommend the ghost shield over full tint.
This was the perfect height windscreen, fits like a glove (took less than 5 minutes to install) and the quality is awesome.
